"Prinku! Anika Di! I need helpp!! Is anyone there?" Sumo shouted from her room struggling with the dori of her blouse for the past 15 minutes. The Oberoi clan was invited for the wedding of the daughter of a rich businessman and Dadi had insisted she joined in too. She was supposed to be ready 15 minutes before but she just couldn't tie her stupid dori.

"Why do these designers make dresses in a way where I can't even wear them myself?" Sumo thought with a sigh. It was a beautiful lehenga that Prinku had given her to wear for this occasion but she was always more comfortable in her tops and jeans although she really liked the way she looked today.

She gave up and sat on the bed looking at herself from the mirror. Her mind wandered off to the one person that was always in her mind. Rudra. She had fallen irrecoverably in love with him and she knew he was in love with her too but they hadn't confessed it to each other yet for reasons best known to them. Also, she was engaged until a week back when she had broken off things with Reyaan and it had been hard. A lot of explanations and a lot of assurances and consolation needed to be provided but it was worth it in the end. She couldn't get married to him when she wasn't in love with him and especially when she was in love with someone else. Things had gotten awkward with Rudra too. They always got lost looking at each other, made doeey eyes at each other yet none of them made the first move. She constantly thought of making the first move but repeatedly decided against it as even though she was sure he had feelings for her, she was too scared that he would reject her because he hadn't been very nice the first time she had met him in college; refusing to recognise her because of her weight. She was scared that he still might think the same way even if he did love her thus the resistance. She couldn't think of any other reason as to why he wouldn't confess to her yet.

She shook of all those thoughts, took a deep breath and once again stood up in front of the mirror on a mission to tie that dori when she heard the turning of the door knob. "Uff! You came? Please come and tie this for me!!" Sumo hurriedly told without looking up. "Prinku? What happened? Please yar, jaldi kar. Waise he bohat late hogaya hai!"

After what seemed like eternity, she felt someone come up behind her but froze as soon as she felt the touch of his hand on her skin and when she looked up at the mirror, her eyes met his.

Rudra had gotten ready at the nick of time and all the men of the house were waiting for the ladies to finish getting ready so they could head to the wedding; a normal routine everytime they had to go anywhere. Literally anywhere. His eyes started searching for the one person he was dying to see in that lehenga. He had bought it for her and secretly handed it to Prinku to give it to her to wear it stating that Dadi had given him to give it to her to avoid any questions. He wanted to propose to her since ages but resisted as she was engaged to that dumb Reyaan. He wasn't very surprised when Sumo told him she broke off things with Reyaan as he knew Sumo had feelings for him but he was too scared to confess his love for her although he knew she was desperately waiting for him to do so. The Rudra that was never scared of his heart being broken was finally afraid now.

Lost in his thoughts, he finally noticed Prinku and Anika bhabhi coming down, but he couldn't see his Sumo! Before he could say anything, Om asked, "You guys came? Where is Sumo?"

"Woh bas aati hogi. Mai dekh k aati hoon." Anika said turning to head towards her room when Rudra called out, "I'll go get her. I anyways have to go to my room to get my watch."

Anika smirked, looking down at the watch he was already wearing. "Okay Rudra. Go get her." Anika said, suppressing a laugh. Rudra knew what his bhabhi was thinking but ran off to his room before anyone could ask more questions. He went to his room, opening the door without knocking and the sight in front of him took away his breath.

Saumya was there standing in front of the mirror, unsuccessfully trying to tie her dori; her back exposed. She looked magnificent in the lehenga and he couldn't stop staring at her. He realized what he was doing and quickly turned to leave but Sumo called out assuming he was Prinku asking him to tie her dori. He was about to say something but decided against it. Without thinking, he took a step towards her and raised his hand to brush off the strand from her back when his skin came in contact with her back.

He saw her look up at the mirror where her eyes met his. After what seemed like eternity, Sumo realised what he was doing and turned around her back facing the wall gaping at him in shock and embarrassment.

Rudra also came to his senses and stammered, "I a-a-am sor-sorry. I thought you could use some help since you seemed to struggle with it. You know you can trust me right?"

Sumo was too embarrassed to speak so stayed quiet staring at him. Of course she trusted him, but she couldn't seem to get the words out of her mouth and moments later Rudra spoke again, "Okay, right. You probably don't..not with my "playboy" record. I'll call Prinku."

As he turned to leave, Sumo called out, "Wait!"He turned to look at her as her features softened and she shyly turned around not just giving him her approval but also ensuring she trusted him. He smiled and stepped forward, looking at her intently from the mirror. As he reached for the dori, his hand again touched the skin of her back which was like an electric jolt for both of them and as a result, Sumo shut her eyes closed.

That reaction made Rudra grin out wide. "My touch affects you this much?" Rudra whispered. Sumo opened her eyes and looked at Rudra from the mirror and from the confidence she didn't know she had, she spoke, "You have absolutely no idea." At that, Rudra touched the back of her neck with the back of his hand and ran through the length. Sumo's breathing turned rapid and she closed her eyes shut again. Rudra finally tied her dori, with his hand repeatedly touching her bare back. Things had really started to heat up and they both could feel the electric shocks that Rudra's touches and Sumo's reactions were giving them.

"It's done. You look breathtaking. You will be the death of me someday" he whispered in her ear whilst also leaning to plant a kiss at the side of her neck, his lips still lingering there whilst Sumo who couldn't take it anymore turned around, wrapping his arms around him in a hug. Rudra's hands instantly also wrapped around hers. "I love you Sumo." Rudra said tightly hugging her close to him. Sumo broke into a wide grin, "I know."

She broke off the hug and planted a quick peck on his cheek, trying to run off the room but Rudra caught her hand just in time, pulling her back to him. His arms circled around his waist and he smirked, "When someone says I love you, you either say I love you back or reject them."

Sumo blushed profusely, but he caught a mischief glimpse in her eyes, "Really?"

"Yes, really." Rudra said

"Okay, so..."

"So..?"

"I love you...not" Sumo laughed pushing him and running from the room leaving Rudra startled.

"This will be one long interesting night." Rudra said smiling, ruffled his hair and ran off behind her.
