Hey there!
So I just found this gem you wrote and couldn't help myself from gushing! I love love love this! Seriously! Thank you for writing this! The sheer angst of this story is so bloody on point that I cannot even begin to describe it!But more than that, what I absolutely adore you for is for retaining the character of Anika. I am so grateful to for you that man! I so wanted this to happen on the show! I was so sure it would! But alas to no avail man! So thank you for writing this! And oh, the recent update calmed my heart so much! Literally! I could imagine every second torment that SSO was going through and I can't wait for this to happen on the show! I want him to realize the desperate irony of his life: he destroyed his love and his future with his own ruthless hands and yes, I want him to suffer!Thank you for writing this and please update soon!Love,A.C.

Hi! Thank you so much! I am such a huge fan of YOUR work on the show that I am actually feeling a little too happy right now!Honestly I felt it was too angst-y but then I rewatched the scene where he completely lost his bananas and started throwing around cars and Anika that I calmed down enough to complete the chapter!Anyway thank you again! I think I had a small fan girl moment there!!Love,LJ
WOW❤️
To think that this has been up for so long, and somehow I've just missed it! Really, this is a fantastic piece of work, and I don't think you realise how happy I get when I love a fic and there are multiple parts up so I can binge-read them 😃Your characterisation is on point. Seriously, you've managed to sustain what the original character sketch from the TV show appeared to be, before this dratted wedding track started and Psychopath Singh Oberoi and Abla Nari Annika came to the forefront. BTW, how glad are we all that we saw the return of our original Annika in yesterday's episode, but then again, the precap and the segments show her broken, and upset again. So, your Annika is a much needed breath of fresh air for me.Annika is so self-respecting in your story, it makes me super happy. The show has somehow compensated her self-respect for what they think is romance and of course, a shitload of angst. I really like that she took of her mangalsutra and sindoor, because more than her indifference, I think its the perfect way to show just how much what he did affected her. He broke her trust - and I think you portrayed that absolutely beautifully.Shivaay, and the Oberois were fantastic too. The emotional turmoil he faces in the aftermath of the wedding is touching; his struggles with his belief system and his desperate need to uphold it, no matter what, fighting a losing battle against his brothers, trying to assure himself that what he did was right, and of course, his confusion with his feelings for Annika directly contrasting to his current perception of her. In few words, you've managed to express a hell of a lot which is beautiful. With Annika and Shivaay, you completely confirm that the root of his resentment towards her is the one-night stand. And as soon as he finds out the truth behind said event, his downfall will be inevitable and you've reflected on that with absolute perfection.Omkara was great, an apt mirror for his personality on the show, and his disappointment with his brother was well executed. Rudra always manages to make me happy, even in the midst of all the angst, and i think the fact that he is the one who tells Shivaay like it is, even though he practically idolises him, was heartbreaking. It really speaks to us as the readers because it shows us how badly Shivaay screwed up, and of course, shows us how mature our beloved Rudy actually is.Sahil and Annika's entry was great too (I loved the crutches!), as was Shivaay's realisation. I really hope it happens exactly like this on the show, because it's so relevant to Shivaay's personality. And I loved the lines drawn between Tej and Shivaay, which were much deeper than the cold businessman prototype that our beloved CVs have all but slapped onto both of these characters.I was actually talking to my sister about this yesterday night, about how much potential Tej has as a character. His relationships with absolutely everyone in the family has such an interesting dynamic, and now, more than anything, I hope they explore this, as well as forge a new bond between Tej and his newest daughter-in-law, Annika. However, while I desperately await to see something like this on the show, can you please compensate for their idiocy? As for hyperlinking, it took me a while to do as well, and I don't mind showing you how I did it. Just drop me a PM, and I'll definitely try to help 😊Looking forward to reading more, so hurry up and update!Lots of love,Innika
