Ohhh you know the other bit I found HOWLARIOUS today...Billu's expression when he's watching Soumya-Prinku take Anika away for the rasam...lol the way Om stops him from going after them...and then the way Shivaay AVERTS his face, folds his arms and starts looking down as he knows the inevitable is coming...the way he seems to think that not watching it happen will somehow stop it from happening🤣...Itna funny namoona hai na yeh by god...makes me laugh.

To be honest, I'm so happy we've ALWAYS been given Anika's State of mind throughout this ordeal she's been through, as much as Shivaay's in fact.

I think he tells everyone the bare minimum but in one of the segments when Dadi comes to take her home, she tells Dadi what he did, so at least SHE knows.

And yes, she should leave, it's not her fault and she's been held against her will for a day and more, actually, woh bhi Shivaay ke saath, that's sad enough😆

I can't wait to see how much Om sunaaos shivaay, and the latter deserves Every word of contempt.

All that family respect, and just like that, he loses it. It's quite ironic, all that trouble he went to, just to ensure his family, his business is safe, and yet, the same people think what he did was just plain wrong. I like how Om's the one delivering this to him since he's been seen as this moral compass of the family.

The marvel to me is that they managed to execute such a genuinely poignant, heartwrenching moment in the midst of all the other troll-worthy stuff that was going on...how do they manage it?😆

I mean one minute there is all the random dialogue-baazi, trolling kinda stuff going on and within seconds it shifts to something so surprisingly SOBERING, no? The moment when Anika starts running towards the burning car and he runs to stop her, hold her back...that is when the switch happened...suddenly the whole thing became so dark, so sobering and by the end, there was that emotion of despair as Anika submits her will, like you said...which is why the scene makes good impact too.

They do deserve kudos for this scene...all of them...writers/directors/actors...it was a tough scene to deliver and they aced it.

Jokes apart, I hate to say anything nice about Gul, but one thing she does have a knack for is creating these moments of solid IMPACT, even if the rest is all LOL, as her shows inevitably are. It's a different issue that she also has a knack for copy-pasting, so most of these moments end up looking trite and cliched at the end of the day. 😆 I think the reason this scene, in particular, had everything going for it...performances apart, they shot it really well and the sobering effect comes through as much in the acting as it does in the visual set-up...the costumes, the bare surroundings, the fire. They HAD to show Anika putting up a damn good fight and Shivaay blindly hitting back with everything he had in order to win, and that desperate quality came through very nicely for once.

^this one here, what fantastic expressions from SC, man...the focus was on her and she nailed it. It's not sad or terrified sobbing, it's the helplessness of a very brave woman who has been hit in the one Achilles heel that she has, and that emotion came through perfectly. And the best thing was, they showed the reflection of that in Shivaay, when she leans on him, defeated, because she has literally nowhere else to turn to...it was strangely moving because she was submitting her will and there was no smug joy of victory on his face...it was more like an acknowledgement of his own deeds, he had to do what he had to do. Nice throwback to the earlier rain scene where he had given her the blank cheque, there were lots of parallels but Shivaay is the one who has come a long way from there (a RARE moment of acknowledgement in the show, lol)

How Shivaay goes from this point where he is still holding back while she just falls on him...

Very well-executed on pretty much all fronts. No wonder Gul was crowing over it in such a pathetic manner. 😆

Hmm well Daadi knowing/not knowing is the same thing...she hardly really gives Shivaay a hard time for anything...oh well, let's see how this goes.

Re: losing the family's respect...yes big irony at play no doubt...that Shivaay went to all these lengths for the family's izzat, business etc. as he thinks but that very family will now be so disappointed in him, so disapproving of him...

Usually this show manages to spin things around fast enough so it may not even last...lol sabki goldfish memories hain is show mein...Shivaay manages to either bully them or emotionally blackmail them into feeling sorry for him cuz all he does is for their sake only😆...like remember the last time the way he justified his sudden shaadi to Tia to OmRu even though they were so pissed with him?😆

Let's see if he can continue remaining the laadla beta or he will need to make amends with Anika to earn that respect back from his family (atleast his brothers and Daadi).
