hey guys IPKKND,QH,GEET, are the best shows on indian tv i've been told this by many people...but unfourtunately(read fourtunately)i've caught these shows at their worst...like ASR forcing khushi for 6 months marriage,asad-ayaan trading the girl,maan verbally abusing geet...in all these shows other than doormat female leads the story was all same replace arnav with shivaay or saahir result will b same= a jerk male lead or so-called anti-hero...
coming to ishqbaaz i wonder how this show or anika is "nayi soch"...
while we are regressing with time our foreign counterparts has raced way ahead of us...
i dnt think i can see a protagonist like feriha,fatmagul,deren/yagmur on indian tv...
what's more apalling is these silly fanatics going gaga over this abuser's...
my friend showed me a tweet nd tagged it as #RIPwomanhood..the tweet read like this:
@gorkymax we girls love it when sm1 like SSO forces himself upon us

like seriously...
anyway i hope sm1 forward this to gul khan so that she can change the storyline..
PS:how is gul khan offscreen...how do she interact with fans...i knw the urlremoved vids are nothing but BS

Wat d hell? Who wrote dis to Gorky? People hate sweet n decent heroes. If FG was made by Gul then Erdogan would have been d hero n there would be no Kerim. If people can accept Suraj of Udaan or guys of Begusarai as heroes then Erdogan Kya cheer hai? But no one can accept Ishaana here or Seher in QH. Sadly, some people supported Asad trading Zoya calling it his majboori n Zoya's fault.

even if its her fault let her deal with her own mess who gave them right to play with his life...agar mai hoti toh main dono bhaiyon ko arrest kara deti...i miss durga of EHT nd roshni of paanch was on another level...fatmagul is wrapping up soon jst 30 epi's are left im glad fatmagul will get justice...
for me fatmagul is nayi soch over anika from a shy,timid village belle to a strong confident woman who runs her own cafe the journey was beautiful...#nayiSOCH

So I'm totally in Shivaay bashing mood especially after watching a week of this crazy fest...and just watched today's episode to top it off.

Kuch logon ka dimaag kharab ho gaya hai. Apparently rational thought shall be no more. Try telling people on this forum that Shivaay has lost his ever lovin mind...that he assaulted her (yes he did)...that tv can have a negative influence on you when terrible things are romanticized...that hes crossing all sorts of lines. And then they get very angry and start throwing curses at you and then label you a feminist and tell you to look at it from Shivaay's side and all sort of crap. What the hell? Btw, when did wanting respect as a woman (forget woman, as a human being) become a feminist issue? I wouldn't want something like this to happen to a woman or a man.

And are people really using look at this from Shivaay's angle as a defense...ohhh he's such a tortured soul...he doesn't love anyone more than his family and can do anything for his family. I can even understand that a person can do anything for his family...but it's still WRONG. It doesn't excuse the behavior.

And wht the hell is wrong with Gul? I know I shouldn't speculate or get personal but show after show she keeps showing really bizarre behaviors thus I have to ask: What is wrong with her?

My god...if I met a man like Shivaay Singh Oberoi (naam jitne bade kaam utne hi choote aur ghatiya), as much as I hate violence and never partake in it...I would have the strongest urge to become violent. To be honest, if I met a man like Shivaay Singh Oberoi in real life...I would be disgusted beyond reasoning and I wouldn't consider him a man at all. A real man defends a woman's honor, stands up for her, and respects women (and everyone else)...u know the boring stuff apparently. I don't know why people don't see that as attractive anymore...you think tv might have influenced you into romanticizing jackasses like SSO. Do some women not care if men have no morals? I am genuinely asking.

Oh and dadi...is she insane??? Sindoor, mangalsutra, phere, sindoor, mangalsutra, phere, sindoor, mangalsutra, phere jap ti hi rehti hai. Apparently, wht Shivaay did was only a galti but if he ripped that all sacred MANGALSUTRA then he will be doing a gunaah. Is she crazy? Apparently ripping someone's mangalsutra from their neck is worse then forcing someone to marry you by threatening to murder a young innocent handicapped kid?

Hazataay: if you don't mind me asking. Who is that couple kissing in that gif?

I really can't believe how Zoya can fall for a such a guy who always insulted her wen she cud get any nice guy in her New York. But Gul only wants to degrade her heroines being a woman herself. Luks like men in her house r like dat only. Now dadi's character is so annoying. Her grandson threatened to undress n rape a girl n even threatened to murder her 5 year old brother but all she cares abt is mangalsutra, sindoor, phere n shaadi. Oldies like her r real threat to d society. They r more dangerous kyunki aisi auratein meetha bolkar ladkiyon ki zindagi barbaad karti hai😡.

Exactly! I don't think people realize exactly what they're actually romanticizing. I think they have just been conditioned by media and/or society to accept that "boys will be boys" and that if a boy teases you "he probably likes you!". I think some bits of our society are finally trying to eradicate this type of mentality (you are a part of that amazing group!) and I think the best thing to do is not back down with the criticism.

I agree, the acting of that scene was excellent, and I think that's the main reason people keep trying to defend/sympathize with Shivaay. I have no problem with violence being on tv. My main issue is with the presentation of that violence. The background music caused the violence to be presented in a romantic context, therefore romanticizing the abuse.

Yeah, I can't stand him either! There is NO excuse for that kind of behavior!

Yeah that's the sad reality of Star Plus right now. Not very progressive. 😔
