It was funny when Riyaan appeared out of thin air again... 😆
Am just glad that finally Rudy is showing his jealousy and passion
Poor Om had to be on the receiving end of Rudy's mood swings😆. It was great to have him in this chapter😃
Hope to read more of Soumya's feelings in the coming parts😊

OK. Finally got home and had a minute to read all the comments. Thanks all for loving this part. I think I had the most fun writing this part. Looks like at least 2 parts will have to be done. Angst will go higher and the cards will fall where they may. Rudra is set to go off now. He cant handle the weight of his feelings anymore.

@jariri2010: Agree, totally channeling college romance here. I was a university student once, and these kind of scenes are not uncommon. Lecture theater is drawing from my own experiences of being in many many lecture theaters myself. Economics and OCR talk. (I am in the Finance field). I am a much better writer than I was when I was in Uni. Reason being that with some life experience comes that ability to introspect and really get into a character and their motivation. You can draw from life experience of your own and people you have seen and even not seen to be able to come up with good plots and situations.

Nothing I have written is impossible. It has and will continue to happen. That is what I always try to do in any story I write. That makes it more relatable to the readers. Rudra has fallen in love for the first time, and been rejected for the first time as well! He doesn't know how to handle either. He loves Soumya. He hasn't said it. But he knows it. She doesn't believe he can be serious about her. Hence, the angst. He cant stand seeing her with Riyaan. (this was true even before). But now with her dismissal of his feeling as Player talk, it's even worse. This drinking is just an attention seeking act, and the reason for it is, he just wants her to see him, notice him and his feelings. When we don't know how to make ourselves heard we act out. Rudra is going the same thing.

The reason for his illness is Soumya and she is also the cure!

Thanks! Chubby is a true friend who's known Rudra since they were in their Teens. Their friendship is true and real. So he cares about Rudy's happiness. He has never seen his friend like this and he knows this is serious. So he is trying to be supportive without over stepping or pressurizing him to accept his feelings. He has not even told Rudra he knows it's Soumya he likes. He has just been bugging him about having heart trouble and pyaar vyaar ka chakkar. But he is observant and didn't take him long to decode who the person was after he saw the way Rudra was behaving around Soumya.

He knew they were friends now anyway. But their changed equation became clear to him because of the way Rudra was practically tongue-tied when he saw Soumya at the lecture. That scene was enough to tell Chubby what he needed to know. Especially coz he saw Rudra had been acting moody and preoccupied for weeks. First, he thought it was Romi issues but soon it became clear it was more than that!

I had fun writing this chapter because there were many elements to it. Soumya has feelings for Rudra too. But she doesn't want to give into them. In the next chapters I will be reflecting more on that. At least that's the goal. Yes in a forum where Rumya stories are scarce, I am happy I am getting a decent response. Yes I am used to a bigger response, but this is still a good start! Lets hope they give RUMYA enough SS, that they can get the following they deserve! Because in MY mind, they have the most angsty college romance style story that can really get a crowd going. WHO doesn't love the "Playboy" and "Cute nerdy girl" stories? Or cool girl and nerdy guy stories?

American high school and college drama are made of that! You should check out "Cant hardly wait!" Cheerleader and nerdy guy, it's so cute.

Its a Korean drama about a fit guy and an overweight girl and how he helps her in reducing weight because she had health problems. Its adorable 😆

and dont even talk about lack of RuMya scenes 😆😆

Its so freaking distressing. 😆
