To expect your writers or yourself to be able to create a nuanced and layered character with the kind of sensitivity that the great legend Ms. Jane Austen did is an exercise in futility, and to compare characters created by yourself or your writers to her's is akin to sacrilege. Ms. Austen was a genius and a legend. You people,don't even come within light years of her! (She is my favorite author, if no one could tell after that rant). She is the reason I write even today. She is my inspiration.Getting back to SSO...What part of Shivaay blackmailing Annika using Sahil as "Bait" is to be celebrated? Gul put it up like it's some trophy? @bold and mr darcy was written in 18th century while shivaay is from 21st century. 200+ year difference and mr darcy is still better, more modern than what her writers churn out! you know what bothered me the most was her main writer going and commenting on her insta post - and saying more she runs away from sso , more she is running towards him!!!!!!
i was like are u serious? are u telling me that he can break the law and emotionally challenge her by holding her brother hostage and we are all supposed to lap it up and think omg so romantic. its not ROMANTIC, its downright disgusting! i think they got confused - torturing a female lead is not romantic and def not a turn on! in reality, shivaay should be in jail, not doing a 24 hour waali shaadi - and where does that exist anyways 😆. she also mocked the judicial system with this.
to gul and her writers, please stop creating wannabe darcys and mr. thorntons in your show, its disturbing to see the best literal gems of the world being butchered like this by some wannabe jane austens 😉
