So a lot of people thought Anika calling Shivaays name was meant to be intense, an enunciation of the depth of her emotion, but I just managed to catch the yesterdays episode of IB and I guess she herself acknowledges the referral to Shivaay with his given name is a means to be coarse 'mein bhi tadi maar sakti hoon' it showed a lack of compassion, whereas with Billu ji, there was a link between them, her ability to push his buttons, but still he remained somewhat cute to her, there was an attachment, she is the only one beside his dadi (who Shivaay loves dearly) to call him by the name, with her calling him 'Shivaay' she becomes just like everyone else, there is no connection so no need to be nice to him, it shows detachment in my opinion...

True! Calling him billu ji kind of gives her a token of ulterior bond with him. About calling him Shivaay, what I had interpreted is that its more like giving him what he wants. Y'know, he seems to be dying to hear his name from her mouth so when she finally did, his face my god xD
So yea, Shivaay sees the entire calling-him-by-his-name thing differently. :3

According to her calling him Billu with a Ji in the end is respectful , so it's kind of formal šŸ˜† so "Shivaay" is much more personal and the one he demands her to call him 😳
