Rudra is spoilt (by Bhaiyya) to a certain extent, has playboy tendencies, a funnyjoke or sweet shayrie always on his lips and is a relatively free spirit. He isimmature and possessive and impulsive, yet very pure at heart. If many had believed him to be the usual joker little brother you find in any other show, as well, then they stood corrected as the show proceeded and more and more subtlelayers of Rudra Singh Oberoi were unraveled and still are being unraveled someone who cannot intentionally hurt another, someone who carries aninnocent almost child-like essence within him, someone who cannot see those he cares for being upset or in pain.

He carries a lot of insecurities and pain inside of himself which he, normally, likes to pretend do not exist. But even our vulnerable sides shine through, at times. His did, as well- whether it be when he admitted that he feared his future wife would treat him second-class, whether it is the anxiety that kicks in whenever people around him fight and which threatens to boil over when those fighting are his brothers, or whether it be when he told his brothers that those who make others laugh can be hurt, as well.

And especially: He is the glue that keeps ShivKara tightly knit together. Thethread that binds these two different personalities even more strongly to each other.

Leenesh Mattoo was born on November the 13th 1991 in Mumbai, India. Although, he completed his studies in engineering, he had always wanted to become an actor. The chance to act on the small screen was given to him in his debut show Suhaani Si Ek Ladki on StarPlus wherein he played the role of Anuj Birla, the youngest of the three Birla boys and husband of Menka Birla, one of the vamps albeit, a very dense and ignorant one. The role itself was a side character and more often than not neglected by the CVs and if not, then mainly portrayed as a one-dimensional character. The potential was never fully used.

Now, Leenesh is starring as one of the three leads in Ishqbaaaz, Rudra Singh Oberoi, the carefree spirit who believes in enjoying life to the fullest and thedoted youngest Oberoi brother. Leenesh's superb acting as Rudra, be it the various facial expressions from childish pouts to mischievous smiles or rhythmically wriggling eyebrows, be it the enacting of emotions from happiness to chagrin, melodramatic bravado to real, raw pain and vulnerability, and just the simple molding into the shell of the youngest Oberoi son, is making the viewers love Rudra more and more with each passing day.

And he shares an amazing off-screen bonding with his co-stars, Nakuul and Kunal.

Rudra ki subah college mein aur shaam kisi pub mein-

And here comes another Casanova. This is my first impression of Rudra Singh Oberoi. Nothing new in the character.

But then I came across a guy who's Rudra Singh Oberoi to the world and a baby to his brothers. Each time I think he can't get any cuter but every time Rudra proves me wrong. Rudra with his Om in short OmRu is a treat to watch. He makes you smile whenever he is on screen. And he can make you cry too. Rudra is the most unique character TV had created.

Rudra is not possible without you Lee. It's not easy to play a character like Rudra with ease. Whatever Rudra is getting that's all because of you. You are the discovery of the IB. Your comic timing, your expressions, everything is bang on. Wish you many many happy returns of the day Leenesh Mattoo. Wish you all the happiness and success. A character that one would either find irritating or be indifferent to - was the impression that a lot of us had of Rudr from the promos. Then, the show aired and we were literally swept off our feet by 'Baby', as we love to adoringly call Rudr. ShivKara's little one has come to matter to us as much as our own little one and often, we find ourselves laughing as he laughs and crying when he cries.

To portray a character like Rudr with such finesse is not an easy task but the way you handle the subtle nuances of expression, the comic timing and dialogue delivery, makes his portrayal impeccably perfect! Through Rudr, you have garnered a legion of ardent admirers who appreciate the efforts you put in everyday to bring this adorable character to life. I have first seen you in Suhani Si Ek Ladki although, your role in that one was minimal and your character barely got any attention, unfortunately. I started to watch Ishqbaaaz after catching the very first kitchen seen of the O-Bros on TV and was immediately smitten- when do you get to see a show focusing on brothers and their bond on Indian TV? It-s always a love story and/or sisters hence, why IB was a refreshing concept. Majority of the fans drifted toward Shivaay since Nakuul had already a great fanbase, or toward Omkara because they saw him as a -different- kind of male lead and loved his intensity.

I had been enamored by Rudra, out of all of them, immediately. Rudra is a very unique character, something you don-t get to see every day on screen: he isn-t the typical playboy most people initially believed him to be, not just the joker you find in any other story, too. He is a layered character, slowly being unraveled in the show (our Oxymoron Singh Oberoi) - but as greatly as a character might have been written, an actor is the one who brings him to life. And I just love your acting! Your dialogue delivery, your expressions, your portrayal of emotions- You are one brilliant actor, Leenesh, and if there is one thing I am thankful for to IB it is introducing me to your amazing acting (apart from giving us the O-Bros).

You excel in your scenes and make me watch even those moments I-d rather skip- if you-re on screen, you are my focus. And out of everything, I enjoy your scenes with Shivaay and Omkara the most, OmRu a little more :P [btw, saare kisses sirf Bhaiyya ke liye kyun?
