1. Om goes to art school some 5 yrs back and does a 3 yr couse, meets and moves in with Riddima in the final yr! So thats a 3 yr relationship out of which the last 2 yrs , it was a long distance relationship coz he came back to India after the course.

2. Tej doesn't consider going to London as an achievemnt at all coz its not to do an MBA or something related to business..

3. Riddhima could have taken an alterante course in London..like psychology or something...every college has varied courses , especially in the west. She could have been in India 2 yrs back and decided to do social work/ counselling for drug abusers etc. and at the time helped Om with his drug problem as well.

4. The legal jargon must have been difficult to understand for Om or must have been in Hindi which Om finds difficult to read or understand so must have asked Riddima to clarify.

This still doesn't cover the 2 year or 3 yr relationship.They keep changing that in every scene.Thats a blooper.

@AngelicTomboy - I feel you. Ishqbaaz timeline is so messed up, esp when it comes to Om & Ridhima. I was thinking of making a post of all the times they referred to a dateline and point out all the bloopers.😆

Om says they used to live together when they were at the London school of Arts.

Unless Om means they used to share an apartment (ala Dostana), it should be less than 3 years since he's been back from Art school (You don't move-in with someone you just meet, they should have been dating for at least a few months before moving in together). But at least 2 years as the Om-Prinku accident happened 2 years ago. So, the accident happened soon after Om's return from London.

More than the dates, I feel they have been inconsistent with Ridhima's character. Initially, they show her as opportunistic / fake. Until Ridhima broke up with Om on video message, it didn't feel as she was so important in Om's life. Now suddenly, she's even more significant than Shivay for Om (he responds only to her voice when passed out).😕And trusts her enough to decode legal docs for him.. I know it is being done to show the extent of Om's pain when the break-up happens, but it feels so forced.

Well as I'm from the UK...
Usually, uni helps you in the first year with uni
accommodation By giving a list of of their buildings and then
They put you together with a bunch of people from different courses.
After that they expect you to find your own place & most of them tend to
Go with the ones they lived with or their love partners or friends ect! Some have flats/houses
Have a recommended amount of people that need to live in a building & the tennent would just put a random person in that building...
So technically, yeah you do move in with people you don't know aha!

Plus UK uni's have 2 terms where they can travel back to their own country..
Like roughly a month for xmas & roughly 3/4 months for summer

& careers can change... It isn't necessary to do something with art if you did a art degree...
.. I'm doing a degree in teaching atm & my lecturer told us that we don't have to be teachers...
We could go into law or social work or business...



(P.s - all shows show bloopers... So most likey this was a blooper! Most of the time they don't remember the little details ahaha)

Well my timeslines go as

From here I have two different theories

Theory 1 --

For some reason Om could not tell about his relation with Riddhima to ShivRu and meanwhile the accident happened, when Om got into depression and started taking drugs. Riddhima on the other hand joined Rudra's college as a councilor. When SHivRu found Omkara in that state, they took help of the councilor of Rudra's college which accidently was Riddhima (not knowing that Riddhima was actually Om's GF)

Theory 2--

After coming to India, Riddhima got engaged in her social work and then Om n Ridsi couldn't spend much time together hence they were in a long distance relation.
The scene which we saw of Rudra suggesting Riddhima's name to Shivaaye was not actually a flash back but a dream of Om, when he felt that he has taken drugs and ShivRu spot him, his condition breaks them up, now in your dreams you watch people and hear names of people you are closest to, so Om dreamt Rudra taking Riddhima's name in his dream.

I think that this will more of less fit the timelines (which only we are interested in and not the CVs)

About the reason Om asked Riddhima to read the papers, (well practically the only reason is to show how much he trusts Riddhima so that when she breaks that trust, he could just blast her off), but, as per the show Riddhima is a social activist and she does the protests etc. whenever there is some wrong policies or issues, so might be she has better knowledge of legal terms than what Omkara has, she could decipher those more easily than Om, so he asked her to study those papers

Ditto! I had the same questions in mind when I saw it.

deepu my love the thing is these guys are out of logic thinking and reasoning capacity our cv's .

About documents, all I can say is that since it was from Mr. Oberai (Tej), he doesn't want to sign it without reading the same as Mr. Tej is not a social worker who claim to open a NGO. So he did said he will sign after reading by then Ridhima entered so he just asked her to read for him so that he need not have to strain himself to read the long document.

Normally even in our family, both will read the document before signing ( even if it has to be signed by one person). Since Om trusts Ridhima, he asked her to read it. That's all.

I guess the main problem for this confusion is that cvs didn't develop riddhima's character properly or i should say cvs didn't make any efforts to show us something about riddhima and omkara relationship
