Ok.. Let's get to some serious Maths calculations and logical reasoning..

Today's episode, Om told himself and Riddhima were in a live-in-relationship for two years in London..

First Question..

1. When did Om go to London ? Becoz remember the episode when Om takes sleeping pills. Tej taunted OmRu saying himself and Shakti went to Cambridge, Shivaay went to London but OmRu went to jail.. How come Om went to London ??

Second Question..

2. Art-School.. Seriously ?? Om and Riddhima were in a live-in relationship in London while THEY were at Art School.. I though Riddhima was a counsellor..

Next problem..

Om and Riddhima have been in a relationship for three years.. That too long-distance relationship.. Then how this becomes a long-term relationship if they both were in a live-in relationship.. And how come two years live-in when they have been in a relationship for three years..

Next problem.. Sabse bada wala..

Om got into drugs two years ago. Shivaay sent him to rehab two years ago. Then how come Om was in Art School when he was at rehab !!??

Last question..

Doesn't my husband know to read ?? 🤢 He had to ask Riddhima to read it for him... 🥱 Come one Dude !! You can do better...

P.S. Itna tho lag raha hai kii Om might have exercised his biological rights since he lived with Riddhima under one roof.. And that too for 2 years 🤣

Ditto. I had the same questions in my mind when Om said that. The Cvs have really made mess of Ridhima's character. They themselves don't know what they are saying or showing. Such bad characterization really !

Iss show me blooper na ho toh surprise hoti hun 😆 Track ke liye jo convenient ho woh bolenge. Maybe Om knows only urdu like he said earlier in that letter scene. More logical one could be that he is not sure of legal documents, so he wants ridhima to read it. Sometimes legal documents are confusing.

I had the same question when Om said that. Guess CVs are very weak in Maths. 😆

There really isn't much use to search for logic in this case but we will try to reason it out for some satisfaction...

1. Om goes to art school some 5 yrs back and does a 3 yr couse, meets and moves in with Riddima in the final yr! So thats a 3 yr relationship out of which the last 2 yrs , it was a long distance relationship coz he came back to India after the course.

2. Tej doesn't consider going to London as an achievemnt at all coz its not to do an MBA or something related to business..

3. Riddhima could have taken an alterante course in London..like psychology or something...every college has varied courses , especially in the west. She could have been in India 2 yrs back and decided to do social work/ counselling for drug abusers etc. and at the time helped Om with his drug problem as well.

4. The legal jargon must have been difficult to understand for Om or must have been in Hindi which Om finds difficult to read or understand so must have asked Riddima to clarify.

This still doesn't cover the 2 year or 3 yr relationship.They keep changing that in every scene.Thats a blooper.

@AngelicTomboy - I feel you. Ishqbaaz timeline is so messed up, esp when it comes to Om & Ridhima. I was thinking of making a post of all the times they referred to a dateline and point out all the bloopers. 😆

@chottekikhushi - Nice rationalization.

Om says they used to live together when they were at the London school of Arts.

Unless Om means they used to share an apartment (ala Dostana), it should be less than 3 years since he's been back from Art school (You don't move-in with someone you just meet, they should have been dating for at least a few months before moving in together). But at least 2 years as the Om-Prinku accident happened 2 years ago. So, the accident happened soon after Om's return from London.

More than the dates, I feel they have been inconsistent with Ridhima's character. Initially, they show her as opportunistic / fake. Until Ridhima broke up with Om on video message, it didn't feel as she was so important in Om's life. Now suddenly, she's even more significant than Shivay for Om (he responds only to her voice when passed out).😕 And trusts her enough to decode legal docs for him.. I know it is being done to show the extent of Om's pain when the break-up happens, but it feels so forced.

👍🏼 I would have applied the same vague reasoning. I keep harping on why Shivvay's birthday was not celebrated when it was clearly in September. Arnav did not like celebrating his but Shivvay has no such issues.
