he knows her parents are dead, and that there are only Sahil and Bua in her family😊

but that she was adopted, nope he doesnt know about this at all, otherwise the scene where the lawyer had cheated Anika and SSO had refused to even hear the case details wouldnt have shown😊

he calls her yateem, because in a way she's an orphan, considering both her parents are dead...

am i making any sense?😆

I don't really know

I mean there is that lakeer between them of blood and khandaan and he has insulted her in the past about her family and who the hell she really is. He can only do that if he knows she's an orphan and has no clue of her lineage. But then I don't think he knows, as she has never explicitly said before him or any of his family members.

Only CV's know.

Anyway if he doesn't its all the better. We get more angst when he foes find out she's an orphan.

Actually if am not wrong during the initial episodes shivay will create so many problems to anika to win in his 3 days bet. like sahil custody case, canteen contract etc so if he do all such things mean without any prior investigation about her he can't come to know about all such things ryt. so I guess cv may not think this a's a big issue . it's my guess part 1

Part 2 is when khanna called shivay and told about the lawyer who is handling sahil custody case he ll try to tell the reason why she need a lawyer but shivay ignore do u ppl remember this scene???😳 so there is a chance that in future shivay may come to know about her past.

Coz still he don't know about her fear of darkness even during the back hug scene she didn't explain y she was standing near the pardha. and also about her night mare which only sahil knows it.

So still so many things to be find out . let's see what cv''s have in their mind

After 100 episodes he doesn't know about her nightmares and her fear of darkness, forget knowing that she is adopted by Sahil's parents. I think he knows that her and Sahil's parents are dead or don't live with them but he doesn't know Sahil is not her biological brother.

Only CVs know.

To be honest whatever little Shivaay knows about Annika is secondhand knowledge, may be from Prinku and Daadi. She is always there in OM conveniently and he never felt the need to know more about her except in one scene during which they talked about god and she changed the topic ( but he was curious to know 😉 ). I think if the promo is indicating an actual separation and Annika going away from OM, that's when her past will be revealed to him including the much awaited Sahil-SSO official meeting. It'll be more impactful I think 😊

When i saw this thread i was like ye thread ek ghante pehle nahi tha😆... ab suddenly itne short time me 8 pages bhi hogaya😆...

Coming to the question i have a feeling he doesnt know about it and he thinks that she is trying to hide her identity or something...bcoz when sso was explaining to om that he was just generally asking her abt the surname to write it on the cheque whats wrong in telling it etc etc...it showed that he dint really know abt her being an orphan otherwise he wouldnt have asked her her surname...

I guess gul sometime back on Instagram mentioned that Shivay doesn't know Anika is orphan. But he called her "yateem" after that. So I m confused. May be the dialogue writer knows it the best. Whatever be the case it's a huge turning point for the show and I m sure gul will make it big in Shivika journey.

I know, dumb question. But this has been bugging me for quite a while now. I have been meaning to make a post on this since quite some time, but I keep forgetting.

The dialogue which had me confused was- when Anika said, Sahil ghar par akela hoga, and he said, "I understand".

And in that confrontation scene he called her "yateem"

But there doesn't seem to have been a scene where he came to know of her circumstances, that she doesn't have parents.

Kindly clear my doubt😳😃

According to Gul. he does not knows abt it
