Actually it can happen. Maan did some hardcore placating and winning Geet back when he infuriated her post-marriage in GHSP. In QH, Asad was really made to suffer during the Ajmer track and build up to Eid (though there was no official grovelling but if anyone can remember all the things he did to make it up to Zoya once Tanveer was revealed, he made up for a lot). In Humsafars, post-marriage, Aarzoo was given the upper-hand for a while.It was only Arnav who didn't grovel or actually suffer and as far as I remember, the original plan was to have him redeem himself through Khushi's kidnapping, who was supposed to be originally kidnapped and he was going to find out the truth in the interim, but they had to change the storyline to accommodate what was happening off screen.Shivay is a much softer character than Arnav. Much closer to Maan than any of the others, so I would say it is definitely possible.
I didnt know the kidnapping track was meant for khushi-- But some where I thought Maan got way too mushy when it came to Geet. I hope there is no such mushiness in the show,. It becomes so inconsistent with their characters. An angry young man cannot get even tempered just because he is in love- he may regret his words later but he loses it often. I would rather that element is maintained. Because somewhere SSO getting all extra tender, mushy and saying nothing but sweet words in her ears will have me fast forwarding shivika scenes after the little dose becomes overdose😆
