First of all, Hello to everybody here. I've been an avid follower of Ishqbaaz from Day 1 and a silent follower on the forum as well. Since I felt that the story, especially Shivika's is finally starting off properly, I wanted to just share my thoughts on the same.
So, there's been a mixed response on Shivaay's decision to propose to Tia today but I felt that it suited Shivaay's thought process. Let's face it, we all knew that the precap yesterday either had a twist or was Anika's imagination. There was no way Shivaay, the non-believer of love was going to admit that he was in love and further more, in love with Anika within one night.
I felt Shivaay's move to propose to Tia was just his way of being stubborn to his initial decision of Tia being the perfect one for him as a Oberoi and more importantly, to prove to himself that these "weird" feelings that he has for Anika does not affect him in any way.
There's a lot for Shivaay to overcome as far as his opinions are concerned before he can bring himself to admit that he has such strong feelings for somebody, especially someone like Anika, who is everything he despises, to put it bluntly.
That being said, I do feel that this track is a sensible progress because it kick starts both Shivaay and Anika having to deal with their feelings whether they want to or not. We can already see Anika being affected with the thought of Shivaay getting married to Tia but let's remember that Anika too has not admitted to herself that she's in love with Shivaay. They're both in a state of confusion and this track will definitely get Anika to realise her feelings.
It may take a longer time for Shivaay because he has conditioned himself to believe in marriage being a business deal and that there's no such thing as love plus the whole importance of family lineage but going by the promo and today's precap, I guess Anika being indifferent to his decision to marry Tia and distancing herself from him will definitely rub him the wrong way and help to maybe get him to realise his feelings for Anika as well.
Lastly, wherever this track is going, I'm somewhat happy that the marriage track has started because whatever that may or may not happen between Shivaay and Anika, I'm pretty sure the whole Tia angle will come to an end and after 100 plus episodes, it's honestly time for a logical end to Tia and the whole mystery surrounding her.
