Shivaay, Om and Rudra are trying to come to terms with the recent happenings in their own way. Loved the scene in which Shivaay consoles Rudra and asks him to give his family precedence and his dad and uncle the benefit of the doubt. I actually agree with them on this...because as the adage goes, innocent till proven guilty.
The Rathore guy was mentioned again...hope this character has a lot of substance.
Om of course is not convinced...and he is right in his own way. For the first time, ShivRu and Om separate for a while, their perspectives causing them to stay apart. Major foreshadowing there IMO. But the brotherly bond is by no means broken. Shiv feeds Rudra and anxiously asks him to feed Om too since he hasn't eaten since the morning. Dil bole Oberoiš³
Some might be alarmed at why Rudra took Shivaay's side. But it's been always evident that Rudra idolises Shivaay. He calls him Superman and Bhaiya and takes cues from him as to how to react. And Shivaay's perspective today was more relatable...this was not the time to be delving into the question of their elders' innocence. To get them out was the first priority.
Rudra's comment about Ishana was spot on...makes me believe that Ishana will be soon back with a bang! I do feel for Om though. Living up to these ideals can be very difficult...so kudos to him for preferring solitude over compromise. Hope Ishana will temper him and make him see shades of grey.
The RuMya scene was cute...Rudra sharing his noodles and Soumya asking him to share both food and his problems. What is the big secret around Romi...I'm really intrigued now š
The ShivIka scene was lovely...The two have an honest conversation which seems to be their forte these days. Again Shivaay's Anika radar works even in times of distress...and he says...Pata Chal Jaata Hai...when she asks how he knows that she's at the door. This was the third timeāļø Shivaay is such a goner!š
The two have a conversation about God, during which Anika partly reveals her past...Shivay is immediately intrigued. But she is evasive and brings the focus back to him...and prods him and brings him around very gently and intelligently. I think Shivaay is increasingly realizing that for all her chatter (Tum bahut bolti ho)...she is an enigma to him. He knows nothing about her.
Anika then cleverly appeals to his love for Dadi, his duty as the elder son of the family, and asks him to keep faith during this testing time. The way she reiterated that she was going was again so cuteš³ But our adamant Billu ji refuses to come around...Though we know he will laterš
I loved the unspoken and implied ShivIka bits too...the parallel... Rudra fed by Shivaay, and Sahil by Anika (thank God they reconciled). The two are more similar than they realize.āļø
Tia seems to finally understand that Anika is considered important by the family and is insecure. Truth be told...I don't blame her.
