It depends on your capability

1.5 days
3 days
5 days
7 days
10 days

10 days is the maximum and 1.5 days is the minimum

DO they want to show that Oberois have the capability to keep it only for minimum time??

no its not that only rich people do that. all people can do that. preeta its about belief na maybe their belief is to keep ganpati ji for 1.5 days only.

No nothing that only rich people can keep for more number of days. But if you keep for more number of days you will have to do daily Pooja, daily Prasad etc. which might be difficult for less income people.

Generally no one keeps it for 1.5 days although this is an option people keep for minimum 3 days
