but I agree that some perhaps didn't even read the post...because when I say that "a scene wasn't funny and that a character/actor needs to tone down" ...it becomes okay to body shame the actress in my DP..it becomes okay to indulge in colorism against her...as if I said anything about surbhi's body type or complexion...as if I said anything about how a television actress is supposed to look like...I COMPLETELY COMPLETELY support the whole "not every body type is the same and every type is beautiful"..because I genuinely think so too.

But on IF I have learnt that when people say that every body type should be respected they only mean that actresses who are big boned or on the healthier side should be respected...the skinny women can be mocked as much as one wants...

I have also learnt that it is okay to indulge in colorism against an actress who is fair in complexion...terms like 'white rat' and 'pale as a ghost' are some that i have come across

So body shaming is body shaming only when you say anything against a big boned/non skinny actress...colorism is bad only when you are talking about somebody who does not have a fair complexion...otherwise it's all cool..body shaming...colorism/racism...it's all COMPLETELY cool

@TeriGalliyan..I am afraid your request is going to be futile...I am going to watch this show as much as i want...i am going to comment on anika as much as I want...the fact that I have sanaya in my DP does not mean I can't comment on any other actress...

please stop with the dictating...nobody commenting here owns the forum..nobody owns anika...you guys don't own my remote(or its mute button) and you definitely don't own my time.

if people can give their comments about ishaana/vrushika here then why can't people give their comments about anika/surbhi? why should ANYBODY have any kind of advantage?

my God...i am getting tired of this..perhaps I should ask the mods to close this thread...

and I guess no matter how much I say that I am going to comment on anika/surbhi as much as I want,in the future I will think 100 times before saying anything bad about her..

I had thought(before opening this thread) that 'I have been largely positive about anika/surbhi here..nobody will term me a hater or be rude'...but clearly I was wrong..so yes some people have surprised me with their behaviour.

but thanks to dmegha,littlesmile,pluviophile,enigmatic,aahana and everybody else who supported my freedom of expression..thanks to everybody who put forth their pov in a mature manner too

I am a silent reader , would like to say its her character's demand that speaks fast & ya sometimes it becomes too much.. it happens . But honestly , really enjoyed the last part yday.. the way she gives the whole description of her walls , Saahil's wish to watch a movie.. the cheap scenes of movies, saahil's grades & almonds.

Anyway. everyone's choice is different.. i too at times find some actors/ characters annoying .

Dear tm who is targeting ur dp here we didn't bring her name u started it read my comments first did I mention ur fav superstar name .
The topic started from Anika u started bringing ipk followed by this mess.
Stop dragging my name dear.
Ur topic is such ppl are targeting u .
U said today she did weird faces why ur topic targets Anika in particular.
Anika is stress buster for us just by watching her 10 minutes u felt irritated hudh hai pin pointing her action daily is not done .
Criticism should be healthy .
The other day u asked me what did I feel comical in Anika ur views seems sarcastic rather than criticism we differ in views we have all the rights to be upset with ur comments.
