Because Dadvaay is being the normal dad, loves family name and has adopted OmRu under his wings as TejVi fought - OmRu are like two like two pieces of a puzzle- without eachother they're incomplete. Momkara has had so much pain in his life that he feels compassionate about all (e.g. ishana who is a stranger to him)

And, dadi had dadaji/her sons to protect and love her (shivaay is shown to care alot for dadi though.) Dadi is an adult and she didn't need anyone to protect her like OmRu needed- hence shivay stepped in as their parent, then Om slowly took the role of a mother and shivaay the father. Rudra stayed as their bacha.
