7 months later:
"Mumma.." a voice echoed softly near Anika's ears.
Anika's lips formed a curve in sleep. She looked so angelic and pure when she slept. She was now in her final trimester and her doctor asked her to stay in bedrest because her delivery can happen anytime and she needs to take proper rest.
Evening:
Ishana and Saumya were with Anika,watching Dilwale and were having popcorns while Shivaay,Omkara and Rudra were cooking in the kicthen for everyone.
Four months back,everyone got to know that Ishana and Omkara are going to become parents'. The whole Oberoi household were so happy and everyone pampered Ishana equally as Anika is being pampered with.
Rudra and Saumya were married only for a year and they wanted to take some time before planning for a baby and everyone supported their decision.
Back to present:
"Haaye.. Kajol aur Shahrukh kitne acche lagte hai saath mein.. Kaash main ek baar Shahrukh se mil paati.." Ishana replied dreamily.
"Mera Varun.." Saumya smiled dreamily thinking about Varun Dhawan.
"Ishana..Saumya.. Chalo.. Dono apne sapno ke duniya se bahar aao.. Apne room mein jaake rest karo.. Saumya.. Tu bhi jaake rest karle.. Kal tera radio show hai na. Chalo utho dono ke dono." Anika ordered them.
"Kya bhabhi.. Aap bhi na.. Aap humein bhaga rahi ho aur chhupke se aap bhi sapna dekhe lagogi apne Ranveer Singh ke baare mein.." Ishana replied with a smirk.
"Dhatt.. Tum dono bhi na.." Anika blushed as Saumya helped Anika to get up for dinner.
The girls' went towards the dining table and had their dinner with everyone and there was their usual banters which followed after their dinner.
After the casual goodbyes' and goodnights',everypne retired to their rooms.
Anika was combing her hair when she felt two warm hands encircling her bloated belly where the symbol of their love grew. She smiled and turned around,hugging him tightly.
Shivaay smiled and hugged Anika from sideways,ensuring that he doesnt hurt her.
Suddenly,he feels his kurta being clutched really tightly and Anika feeling uncomfortable as he heard her uneven breathing. Hot tears were falling and she screamed Shivaay's name as she couldnt bear the contractions,that was increasing every moment.
"Bohut dard horaha hai,Shivaay.. Mujhse bardasht nahi horaha hai.. Aaahhh!!!" Anika said with tears continuosly falling from her eyes.
Suddenly,the door flung open and came in Omkara-Ishana,Rudra-Saumya along with Daadi,Jahnvi and Tej. Rudra immediately went to take the car out while Daadi,Jahnvi and Ishana were trying to calm Anika down.
Saumya called Anika's gynaecologist immediately and informed her about Anika's labour pains. Doctor ordered Saumya to bring Anika to the hospital immediately and also asked Saumya to make sure Anika does not lose her consciousness.
Shivaay picked up Anika in his arms and sat in the car along with Saumya,Rudra and Omkara while Ishana,Daadi,Tej and Jahnvi followed them in another car.
As they reached the hospital,Anika was immediately taken to the Operation Theatre and Shivaay was made to sign some forms regarding Anika.
Everyone could hear painful screams of Anika which tore everyone's heart especially Shivaay. He was suffering the most because he cannot see a tiny bit of tear in Anika's eyes.
Just then,Anika's doctor came outside and said, "Bacche ka sar ghum chuka hai.. Normal delivery nahi ho payegi.. Hume C-Section karna hoga warna bacche ko bacha pana mushkil hoga."
"Please doctor.. Humari beti ko bacha lijiye.." Tej and Jahnvi replied with tears.
Shivaay stood there lifeless. Rudra and Saumya shook him and asks him to answer the doctor.
"Doctor.. Aap Anika ko bachaiye.. Mujhe Anika ke jaan ke badle baccha nahi chahiye." Shivaay replied,devoid of emotions.
"Mr.Oberoi.. Aap himmat mat hariye. Sab kuch thik hojayega."
Omkara and Rudra stood with Shivaay,giving him moral support while Daadi,Tej,Jahnvi,Ishana and Saumya went to the Hospital Mandir and was praying for Anika and her unborn baby.
After an hour,the loud wail of the baby cut the silence and announced its arrival.
Shivaay,Omkara and Rudra sprung towards the OT door,waiting for the Doctor to come out and break the news..
Atlast,the doctor came out with a big smile etched on her face.
"Congratulations. Bhagwan ne aap sab ki dua sunli hai. Mrs.Oberoi ne ek pyaari si beti ko janam diya hai. Mrs.Oberoi thori weak hai abhi but thori der mein thik hojayengi. Baby bhi thik hai. Thori der mein baby se aap sab milsakte hai."
Shivaay was feeling very happy today. His prayers have been answered. Omkara and Rudra hugged him tightly and congratulated him for becoming a father. Rudra immediately informed the other family members of this good news.
After fifteen minutes,Nurse came out with Shivaay and Anika's baby,wrapped in a soft,pink blanket. The Nurse handed the baby to Shivaay,who was busy admiring the princess of his Life. Her eyes' were totally like him.. Another Kanji Aakhon wali.. Her nose,lips and hair were like Anika..
What was more precious was their baby's smile.. Exactly the xerox copy of Anika. Omkara and Rudra took their turns along with Ishana and Saumya and loved the baby.
Daadi,Tej and Jahnvi also took the baby in their hands and played with them until the Nurse came and took the Baby to Anika for feeding her.
After an hour,everyone met Anika and congratulated her and Shivaay for becoming parents. Anika was really happy seeing everyone so happy. Anika shed tears of happiness when she held her baby in her arms. She was complete.
