Hi everyone at this forum...i know after reading this post most of you would feel like hating me and throwing ande and tamatar at me...but still i believe that these forums are meant for an open expression of our views about a serial...so here i am...
I watched few episodes in the beginning...was really excited after seeing the promos...but somehow could not follow as i became busy in my schedule. The time i saw them, i was at home because of my illness. But last week i decided to again see it as i had time that day... It was the episode where Anika and Shivay meet each other in the rains and want to declare both of them as winners and the other one as loser...So I am here just with my perception about that episode...

Firstly I would start with the good points of that scene as they are quite few according to me...

The rain sequence...an unusual one for such a scene...so i found that interesting...😊
The girl wearing white dress in rain...awww...the old age bollywood sensuality...
The way the car came to a halt and Shivay came out of the car...mind blowing...👏
The song chosen after he left...i just loved the choice of song...my favourite😊

Now coming to the negatives...in advance I'm telling you that i am ready with a big bag for collecting sandals, tomatoes and eggs from all of you...

The attitude of Shivay...just over the top...didn't suit him at all...he is too soft outside...i would love him in intense romantic scene...not such a arrogant one...

The girl Anika...her dialogues were very strong...i loved the dialogue writing but DIALOGUE DELIVERY...she failed miserably...the way she pursed her lips every now and then...the way she delivered the bang on dialogues...I was not at all impressed...

Her face just doesn't show the strength of her character...that dialogue...Meri dushmani to aapse abhi shuru hui hai...something something...how badly directed...

Why did he need to throw away the umbrella ...didn't make sense at all...
The cheque...water proof tha kya...i wonder😲
When he left, the sadness didn't come onto his face...😭 Anika was better than him in that part...

This was my POV...about that scene...an over dramatized but poorly directed...thats all...

The other characters...Omkara..i have fallen for him...he is so cute...so mature...i like him a lot...😛
Ishaana...please help me out with this...does she have some problem in her left eye...may be i missed it ...they must have shown she being injured or something...but for me her left eye looked kind of beaten up...I may be wrong...but she is ok otherwise...but her character i need some time to understand...no more comments on her...

Now you all may give me lots and lots of dhishoom dhishoom...most welcome...I don't know how frequent i can see this serial as i usually can't follow a daily show...but if something touches my heart...then i'm there for it...

Thanks a lot for reading and for bearing with me...if you could...Loves to all the lovely members of this forum...BYE...

Ishaana's father is a gambler and the goons who he took money from, came to collect it and she was trying to pacify them to come another time but her father messed up everything so they got physical and in the process she got hit.

Oh! and be ready for people telling you to stop watching because you don't like everything blindly. 😆

4 Lions formula to making all their shows:

Male protagonist:
- Hipster Name + Singh + Obnoxious Typical-Rich Surname
- Ridiculously rich
- Arrogant asshole
- Thinks lower / middle class people are shit & constantly shows them their place in society (like they don't already know)
- Has temper (& maybe violence) issues
- Loooves his family (esp. siblings & grandmother)
- Wears 3 piece suits in Mumbai summer
- Has a stubble
- Claims to own a multinational corporation but just hangs out at home
- Already has a girlfriend / fiance
- Stares at female protagonist a lot

Female protagonist:
- Lower / Middle Class
- Immense self-respect
- Talks a lot (has huge range of wisecracks to throw at the male protagonist)
- Masochist
- Somehow falls in love with asshole because she sees one soft side of him
- Weirdly (& conveniently) clumsy
- Works for male protagonist because of family compulsion
- Changes male protagonist's thinking
- Befriends & changes male protagonist's fiance & then ends up being with changed male protagonist

Family members of male protagonist
- A really cool Dadi / Nani
- Some weird aunty who loves to dress up (too much) with lots of bling and colour & is waaay too possesive about her son & obsessed with her son's marriage
- Some secret hidden for years
- Too many people of which least important ones will definitely leave the show but their absence will conveniently not be addressed

Add to this a tune/song for every couple and lots of fairy lights!

It worked before but now it's getting repetitive and so far, they seem to be over-doing it in Ishqbaaaz.

hahaha true but i have been burnt by a so called realistic show on sony - so i would still prefer this. i watch TV shows for entertainment purposes only so far, it has got the masala and i have no issues the drama.

guys, this is indian tv - dont expect a lot of path breaking stuff. as mentioned before, i was highly dissapointed by a show i watched before (it was depression galore).
