Hum Saath Saath Hain parallels?

Hey everyone
as I've been watchingIsee a lot of parallels between the movie hum SaathsSaath Hain and this show ...
Someone in the forum mentioned that ishqbaaz would follow the story of the Ramayan .. which makes sense and hum Saath Saath Hain also followed the story of the Ramayan ...
HHSSH is one of my childhood favorite movies ...
also the movie and this show share a common actor too 😃 😃

Yes!!! Finally someone said it. I was thinking the same thing and now im currently watching HSSH just to check if im correct. The characters are similar but not completely. The makes has changed their personality to match with the current era and what viewers like.

1. Vivek = Shivaay

Both are the eldest and independent. They focus more on the family business and would die for their younger brothers. However, Vivek is the shy and quiet one whereas Shivvay is the typical male character of every Gul's shows. The angry young man avatar. (However i do feel that her angry young man gets more 'angry' every time she creates a new show :p)

2. Prem = Omkara

Both of them are the peacemaker of the house. the lovable and moral one. They are perfect. You cant hate them because they never do anything that will make you want to. The only difference i can spot is that Omkara has a dark past and that plays a big role in the story. And we all know that his other half wont be similar to him like how Preeti was to Prem. No, Omkara is in for a big trouble😆

3. Vinod = Rudra

The youngest and the baby of the family. Both of them loves mischief and always gets in trouble and constantly needs the eldest 2 to protect them from themselves especially. Vinod however knows whom he wants and is dedicated to her no matter how much he teases her. Rudra on the other part is all over girls and is oblivious to his true love. Cant blame him, he did not have much time with his 'angel' yet.

Yesss!!!! I was thinking the same thing ...
also mahesh thakur is in both which I find the coolest thing ...
although he plays different characters
I'm struggling to find a parallel for mumta in this show ... although svetlana is probs going to be the instigator behind it all just like mumta s friends were in hssh

Jhanvi will turn out to b mamta..shiv loves her n respect her too!
