"Do you have a problem? Are you handicapped?" Shivaay spewed in irritation.
"Mr Oberoi!" came a sharp, angry call from his right "Mind your words"
As she came into his peripheral vision, he felt his anger going up a few notches. Fate had never brought this girl into his life without carrying in trouble along with her.
You again. Not surprising actually, this place suits you" he said with an arrogant smirk.
Contrary to usual she did not reply with a retort. Instead she turned to her brother
"Sahil, please give Mr Oberoi a few tissues."
Shivaay smirked gladly. Finally the girl had learned her place in the ladder of life. After looking for a good two minutes at his sister , the boy got up and slowly took up the tissue cup.
Shivaay who was busy smirking at Anika turned his gaze towards the boy and the smirk was wiped off.
Earth swallowing him up would be a small mercy , Shivaay thought. Here he was with an able body and enough money to be buried in , yet he was unhappy.The boy on the other hand seemed quiet content with his life.
"Thank you " Shivaay muttered when Sahil gave him tissues.
"You are welcome " Sahil smiled.
"Come on Sahil, let's go to the park. We need to be back before sunset" Anika beckoned her brother.
Without sparing a glance towards Shivaay, Anika and her brother walked out.
"I ...uh" Shivaay stammered.
Anika stopped in her tracks and turned back to look at him in his eyes.
"We belong to a lower class Mr . Oberoi but that does not mean you can walk all over us and that certainly does not give you the right to insult my brother"
With that Anika walked away leaving behind a mute Shivaay Singh Oberoi.
So yeah, this is my rendition of how the scene could have been. Good? Bad? Stupid?
