Since Day 1 I had been liking Shivaaye and Om both, since their eyes spoke more than them. They are very deep and emotional characters, the only point being that they have learnt to hide it.

I feel that Jahnavi was someone who showered true love on the kids, as it is the family where Om calls his father Mr. Oberoi, Shivaaye throws his phone on his mothers call, curtly back answers both his parents, they never showed any disrespect to Jahnavi, while Om demanded an apology from Tej for his mother, Shivaaye called him Badi Maa. I really want some sweet scenes between Jahnavi and the kids

Coming to the childhood Om and Shivaaye, I think they had a very disturbed phase, Om's mother was all shattered to provide any motherly support, despite her loving motherly instinct, his father was busy in his business and secretary, Shivaaye's mother was a money monger who is seeing his son as a bearer cheque, his father I find the most annoying in the lot, while the others at least clearly accept that they are what they are, Shakti tries to disguise himself as a goody goody man, while he too is involved in the dark past of the Oberoi's, I find him a hypocrite.
As I have mentioned in a previous post, I think that Om and Shivaaye are practically of the same age (with Shivaaye being 8-9 months elder), they grew together with no one to shower love and protection and therefore became each other's support, as we can see, both these brothers can understand each other's pain and thoughts even without a word. And if this was not enough, since their childhood, their parents started preparing them for a race in which their competitor would be the person who is his only solace. This disturbed childhood made them mature at a very early age

Rudra on the other hand, I think did not have that disturbed life as a child, maybe by the time he was big enough to understand things, Shivaaye and Om were big enough to shower the elderly love onto him. He had a protected childhood and was never made a part of the race and hence he had the leisure to be carefree and sweet. But I am sure we will get more of this character as well.

Jhanvi is an interesting character and one whose interaction with many other characters I would like to see (Esp I would like to see her show Tej his place someday, that man deserves a slap).
She was once I guess a lovely woman both inside and out. Though her exterior is still lovely , years of being shamed and downtrodden by her husband , to the extremes of him flaunting his mistress openly , has killed her on the inside. But one can convincingly say that she does not begrudge the Obbros their relationship. Coz she was smiling on the MahaAarti day when Shivaay decided that brothers would do the Aarti together. Shivaay calling her badimaa , again proves that she is or was a good woman.

This character can be taken to many levels if written properly. CV's if they put some actual brain cells into it can take up the topic of Alcohol Deaddiction and show through Jhanvi that it is possible to bounce back from your addiction. But alas I am not expecting that from Gul's team. I would be happy if she at least keeps the brother's bond intact.

Thanks Amreen, I love this show that I am becoming obsessed by this, and though the show is Ishqbaaz all I want to see is the brotherly bond

True dear, although I haven't watched many Gul's serials, but I guess that Qubool hai was enough for me to understand that she can make any story with no meaning at all.
I echo your thoughts I really want Jahnavi to show Tej his place, but instead all she does is unsuccessful attempt to humiliate the secretary

Coming to the Obbros, I think the future is the rivalry/differences between the brothers be it now or after some days, I would however like a situation where though they are at non talking terms but they are still caring and carving for each other. I think Rudra will have a role to play in bringing back the brothers together, since he is not in contention, I guess this is where his importance would be.

I however really want that if sibling rivalry is a part of the plot, Rudra shall be directly involved his being Swetlana's son was the best way to bring him in the race and/or give him a reason to mature, he could actually had become the one who stood with Jahnavi and fought with Tej, but I think this is not the case.

Lets see how story progresses

True that, and that is the reason I get irritated when Rudra calls Shivaaye Bhaiyya and Omkara as O or tu, tum 😡
