Kabir and Zara are both right and they are both wrong at the same time.

Kabir is right to protect Zara but he is wrong to not see the injustice being done to women.

Zara is right to fight for women but she is wrong in not understanding the danger that Kabir sees around her.

Kabir's anger is justified. Zara's stubbornness is justified.

OH GOD!!!!! I love this show. CVs aren't showing them as one being obviously right and the other being obviously wrong. They both have their reasons and both are right and wrong, in their own sense.

Controversial issues are never black and white. Kudos to CVs for showing the reality of such situations.

im gonna copy and paste my post from the AT
Other Muslims don't bash but I can see weigh in kabeers views roo.
It's not compulsory for women to go to mosques to pray. We have been given an easy way. We can pray Aram se at home.

Kabeer is doing his duty as a husband he is keeping zara safe. Already she was hurt during that push from someone- aka nilo I think.

She's been through a load of crap twice during the Kashmir tracks. He's found out about ruks plots to kill her. Why wouldn't he want to save her from the outside world???

As for zara she is right in her own way. Some mosques do have women only areas. But then again not everywhere does.

For taraweeh here I've been to mosques where their are women only areas where you can pray. But j haven't prayer in a mosque in different countries. It just depends.

If Allah has not made it farz on us then why argue over it. It' like that farz and sunnah conversation between ZaBeer during the HM track.
If he can accept her views and understand them why can't she realise that maybe his views are correct in some sense.

Islam isn't a hard religion to follow, Allah makes it easy for us all.

I think they are both right.
I know it's cus I always see two sides Of the story.

But kabeer is right because he wants to protect her (all those ruks Saazish's/ siraj-ghazal fiasco/ that Dhaka from the precap) all this is getting too much. He is right to the certain extent in his attempts to protect her, he's wrong for stopping her when Allah hasn't stopped her.

And zara is also right but in terms of getting her rights and completing her wishes to pray in the mosque. But they dont need to make this such a big issue they could sort it out between themselves. No need to drag the fam in this. She should do What she thinks is right according to God's Words but keep her safety in mind.

But Idk why this track and views are reminding me of that sunnahand farz convo from the HM track. If praying in mosques isn't farz on women why are they fighting. Cant they calmly put their views across like how she explained to kabeer about sunnqh and farz.

Looking forward to this track!

Great post, thats the beauty of this serial .. you cant understand whose side to pick
I understand kabeer's concern, intact i guess if i stand up for something controversial i can expect my father asking me to step back as he wouldn't want me to get into any trouble. Not because he would be against female freedom or something, but because his protective instinct would take over any larger good pf the community, thats what family members do always ..

Also kabeer very firmly believes that a wife's security is husband's responsibility, thus his conern is very valid and he has also requested her ..

Zara on the other hand doesnt even care about her security because she is standing up for the right and u cant worry abt your security if u have to stand up for the right ! ..

So honestly .. i dont know whose side i ma on !

For me it's not who is right and who is wrong, it's what is right. And Zara stands for what's right here.

Zara & other women are fighting for their God given rights. If someone wants to use it or not is upto them. but men denying them the right to pray in mosque is wrong.
Mosques not having the facility is an excuse to keep women away.

Anyone who wants to change the system will face challenges and Zara is aware of it.It's Kabir's duty to support & protect his wife, not by asking her to give up,but fighting along with her.

For me this falls under the umbrella of issues women across religion&cultures are fighting for-
access to public places& participation in decision making.

I am with Zara.
