The point of the SUPERHIT episode.

I don't come onto IF that much but I love going through everyones opinions like a little stalker. After today's episode of Ishq SubhanAllah, I too was quite confused at how there was no mention of Kashmir or anything in today's episode so I did a bit of research into what had happened and BASICALLY: SUPERHIT is part of Zee TV's new weekend programming schedule and it's basically where they use characters from their existing shows and create new fictional stories in a movie-like format. If any of you have watched the promo, they say "weekends par aapka TV screen banega bara parda"

So they basically create a two hour long movie and divide it into hour long episodes and use characters on their present shows. I think the fact that they linked our SUPERHIT episode to the Kashmir track is one reason why many of us were a bit confused, however it's completely unrelated, they just used the name of Siraj and Kashmir to create a similarity between the show. The other shows which have had these so far include Woh Apna Sa (the promo for there's was quite horror-ish), Jeet Gayi Toh Piya More (similar to WAS), Kaleerein (again, I don't watch this show but the promo for their maha-movie was quite mystery thriller-esque) and now us. Aapke Aa Jaane Se is currently shooting their SUPERHIT which seems like it's to do with kings and queens, and basically quite Jodha Akbar-esque.

Well it did remind me of a movie but I don't know which one...

Hahaha I was extremely confused too but now it makes sense! The great thing about this is every few weeks we will get an entire weeks worth of Ishq Subhanallah, even if we don't like the story in the SUPERHIT episodes, the two hours are over and we go back to our original story!

I hope this isn't the case. Can't see the robotic farz mode again

Well the SBS segments and all from yesterday show mullah ji getting quite romantic so you never know my dear, romance is on the kinaara :)

I know! They should have advertised it more that it's not related to the show for many of us got confused, maybe at the beginning they could have had a beginning card with Adnan and Eisha saying that this is all fictional and isn't relating to the plot of ISA, they kind of tried it with the beginning of Monday's episode showing a recap of Friday's episode but it didn't make much sense.

Same same! I hope they try something a bit lighter next time :)
