I think Shabaz was actually observing everything and everyone today, especially during the discussion as to when contract should be signed,
1.he just asked which contract? which means Kabir is not sharing anything about his dream project and its details with his parents and he is just sharing what he thinks important to zara, as he did not tell her about signing the contract that day (may be he would have told when he was leaving the house?)...but it clear that he is not sharing things with Shabaz...which he clearly understood.
2.He was observing the conversation between Zara-Kabir-Ruksar may be to understand who is able to inference him and to what extent... It is clear that Shabaz had good impression on Zara from day 1 i.e, the day he saw her train video and he somewhere knows as along as her principles does not come in his way she is perfect for Kabir as she is easiest way for Kabir to become Qazi and as she is Qazi's daughter she will help him handling his position and at the same time her position of Qaziyani with pride and responsibility...as none of members of his family knows the rights, responsibilities and problems which comes to Qazi's family...
He knows she is smart and may be he was trying to know whether she got the ability to handle Kabir's pulse and may be he is even trying to check how she is dealing with Ruksar and to what extent she wants to stay with Kabir as her/kabir's one decision to separate will again create few problems in his dream of kabir becoming Qazi...
I feel Shabaz is always a silent observer and plays his card only when required unlike Zara, I think this is what Zara should learn from Shabaz to play the game she is playing now... I think with yesteraday's episode it is clear that he believe's Zara is smart to understand the game which is being played, she is smart to understand Ruksar and handle her and she is learning to handle Kabir and inference him...
I think as long as she does not go against his wishes he is always Zara's side...To be frank till date we handle watched any Shabaz- Zara Scene...And his real opinion on Zara will be known once Alena's dream of becoming pilot come out and Zara supports her against wish of Shabaz...may be till then will have to imagine what is in his mind???
But yes can actually comment only after watching today's episode.
