What have they done?

To Kabir's character.

He was the guy who agonized over what Zara would think when he fell on her and apologized promptly during their honey moon.
Today he showed no remorse in manhandling his wife and insulting her in front of others.🤢
I wish they had shown some of his anger while punching the bag was self-directed and he regretted losing his cool like that.
But, nah..he is still angry with Zara and doesn't realise what he has done.

And Zara..why didn't she tell him what he did was unaccpetable? I din't like her brushing it away and trying to pacify him.🤢
I do get, on iTVs, the burden of maintaining the realtionship is on the bahu adn Zara is just another bahu, following the other doormat heroines.

Why didn't Aisha pull up her son? Shebaz would've done I hope. Everyone acting like it's normal is not nice.
No Cvs, the angry out-bursts of heroes ,followed by customary manhandling of the FL is neither romantic nor dramatic, just pathetic.
Please show some repentance from Kabir's part, if only it's asking God for forgiveness and asking more patience to deal with his wife.

P.S-Once again hats off to ADnan & Eisha. Loved Eisha as a concerned Zara sharing her worries with Aisha adn the way she ran out of the room happy.

Everyday I get up to read the WU and everyday I am disappointed that I still cannot go back to the show I had so fallen in love with 💔

I had such high hopes, man. But this show is turning into a nightmare for me. First of all, I am tired - sick and TIRED - of Rukhsar and her so aggressively chasing a married man. It's disgusting and annoying to watch. She ruins every single scene, EVERY SINGLE scene she is in! Even in the ZaBeer scenes they show her evil, annoying face in between!

WHAT is the need for her, when there is enough conflict between the leads due to their different nazariya?

WHAT does it tell us about Kabeer that he is taking help from a na-meheram, his ex-fiance, but throws the hard work of his wife in the trash?! 🤬 Kabeer's character has gone down in my eyes so much.

He manhandles her, but SHE is the one going around apologizing, and he's STILL ANGRY! LMFAO. f**k off Kabeer, just f**k off! There, I said it. I'm so disgusted! One of the things I loved about Kabeer is that even when he disagreed with her he did so in a relatively calm manner. And now look. Unbelievable.

I am so disappointed in Zara, first that she didn't even tell him what he did was wrong and give him silent treatment, or at least ignore him. WHY must she always be the one to go after him? All this makes Kabeer seem like a man who has no presence of mind. Which I guess he is. And second, she is now doing that sharia board meeting whatever without even telling him. So the cycle will repeat, she'll face his wrath, he'll be abusive and SHE will be the one to manaofy him 🤢

I am so glad I stopped watching the show. Now if only I can stop reading WUs until the time there is actually something worthwhile to watch!

Thanks a lot CVs, for regressing Kabeer's character in front of my very eyes. I cannot even stand the sight of him almost as much as I cannot stand the sight of Rukhsar now 🥱

IKR! This whole manhandling female and male pushing them on wall while giving cold stare thing, why the hell do people even like such stuffs! 😡 This is like every other tv show scene. Why can't CVs draw the line between romance and abuse? 😡
And audience like idiots drool over such love stories! no offence, once I used to like such scenes too. Thought it was bad boy good girl romantic story however now that I've got brains to think logically, its nothing but abuse. If some guy even if its my husband would manhandle me, shout at me or push me on the wall, I would kick him so hard, he would never be able to have kids. 😡
But its easier said than done. So even Zara can not show some action, can she speak up! Please! This is so wrong. Showing such things in tv just sets up the mindset in the people that mishandling a woman when you can not handle the situation is okay. Its not!

CVs have completely butchered Kabir's character. Hes not the person who we all appreciated and admired, hes not the person Zara started crushing on. Kabir was understanding, mature and logical person who respected others. This man is not even the shadow of past Kabir. This man is shallow, egostic male who can not respect his own wife. 😡
CVs did what we were fearing for! Their original story is now following the foot steps of every other hindi tv drama. 🤔

I will have to disagree with you on this one bit. I credit CVs here because I feel like they did not show this scene as a romantic one at all, they completely showed this scene as abusive/manhandling one under the influence of rage/anger. Don't think they romanticized it at all. Just my opinion. I still hate that it happened obviously, it was disgusting and I agree with you in that other shows do still romanticize abuse, sadly

IKR! I am disappointed more with Zara than Kabir. Kabir is behaving like a typical male. It doesn't matter how they start with the characters, they will end making all the characters same.
Zara should grow back her spine which she lost in this whole "MySoharMahan" fiasco! And we need Zara back! The one who knows what is wrong and whats right! Can she open her eyes and see what is actually going on!

I was actually talking about Indian shows CVs in general 😆
However even here CVs are wrong. They should not show that abusing your wife is okay! That you can manhandler your wife and she will still come after you, apologising for your mistake! 😡

My bad! Thought when you said 'why can't CVs draw the line..' you were talking about ISA. Aside from that then, I agree. I was shocked that Zara didn't even feel what he did was a gunah or bring it up that he was literally physically abusive towards her? 🤬 Early days wali Zara would have definitely spoken up but now she's too busy being moony-eyed towards her husband to notice when he is crossing the line!

If I was Zara I would have given Kabeer khula and been back home with my Abba and Amma by now.

Good post and i totally agree with you.
Galti kisi aur ki ho aur maafi kisi aur mange wow...what they made kabir into...zara completely forget everything kept everything on the side and try to manaoing her mullah which was so cute of zara but kabir is so rude unromantic MCP person. And what happen to the people live in this house shabaz looks like dont have no idea whats his son up with his wife...aisha giving tips how to manaoing his son instead of asking her son for his mishaving with zara.

This kabir is unrecognisble he use disgree with zara's point of view but he use to respect her and could not see a woman sleeps on the floor. this is the same guy who saved zara from those goons who took picture of her getting change in a shopping mall...well the cv made him a MCP that was so sudden.

Todays zabir scene i did not enjoy it because as if its only zara's duty to baby him...he was just sitting there giving cold stare and again he said some nonsense to zara. I don't understand what happend to zara also she ignore everything seems like she is loving how manaoing her ruthe huye shouhar. Zara please speak up infront of kabir like how she always does.

Bang On, I was hoping too that kabeer was punching that bag out of remorse and was angry at himself for his behavior towards Zara, but looks like the CV's are trying to glorify his actions and Zara was so out of character accepting his behavior. The Zara I would have liked to see would have given it back to him and pushed him back and given him a piece of her mind about how to behave with women. Really sad the way it was shown, glorifying a mans abusive side to women. Please show some repentence by Kabeer for his obnoxious behavior!

I am not even gonna watch the show after reading this. Cannot spend more time on this drama.
A very small journey I must add. I will miss ZaBeer. They were pretty amazing!
