It's natural to remember if you truly practice the religion and you God fearing. If you weak in practicing your religion;at least check the time and you will remember 😉

See. Farz we remember coz all of us start practising since the age of 7 yrs. so it becoms a habit.
Sunnah and nafal ppl do if they want. Mostly the old ones. there are also many other prayers specially in Ramadhan. not to forget masjid nafal, and wudu nafal. Eid sunnah, and many others. so Those who are interested remember them too. I practice some of them not all . it is not a big task. each namaz takes only few minutes like between 3-10 minutes . it depends on how fast you are , and how long surah you read.

Surah means an entire chapter or para right ? So do you guys read it ?? Coz I've mostly seen my Muslim batch mates saying prayers without reading anything

It becomes a habit. Honestly it's not as hard as it looks.
At first I used to be scared that I won't remember everything you need to say and do. But when you start praying you learn and Remember.

Yeh kind of, there are different Surah's and are recited at specific times during the Salah.
As for your friends, most of us recite them quietly or in our heads

I think it is difficult for non Arab muslims to say surah in Arabic. I am an Arabic woman that's why it is easy for me to pray. but yes , it is difficult to memorize the whole Quraan, so there are many short chapters. also a person can read few Aayat . but reading al fatihah is a must. also saying :Allahu Akbar between moves, rest you can read in your own language.

You have to move your lips while reading, and take breaths at least. this is what I read.

We are taught nsmaz at age of 7 ...and even before it, parents used to involve kids in prayers as it will create habit and interest.
Then what you have written is simple rakats.
Farz is compulsory to perform .
Then come sunnat which has to categories ...sunat mukkada which is
Sunnah mu'akkadah refers to any voluntary act of worship (such as the Eid prayer, or the two rakat after the maghrib prayer) which the Prophet continuously performed and almost never abandoned.

And other sunnat are voluntary.
Then comes nafil which is extra..

And doing since childhood, it becomes a habit.
Last para ayats are small and easy to memorize for non Arabs.
