He didn't go back on his words Mana, He just said if Kabir is okay with this alliance then he don't have any problem. It was family member who didn't ask Kabir about it and started preparations for Rukhsar engagement.

I never liked her since starting or better to say when her name was mentioned for first time I didn't like her at that moment only because I knew she will want to marry Kabir:((
