Yes I have not taken stand for Aalisha because I don't like her and there are many reasons for that..I need not elaborate but I have not mocked her. But as you are asking let me give you my honest feedback.I don't get positive vibes from her and I did not like her portrayal of Aarohi in revenge track. Many a times I felt that in allmost all the interviews she cribbed about working for long hours and others getting early packup. Rather than getting happy about the fact that she is getting so much importance, she in a way kept on complaining. Both Channel & PH gave very good treatment to her and promoted her like anything.I may be totally wrong, but I feel that she started thinking that she is above show and its only her who is working...perhaps this may not may gone well with Channel & PH..agian I repeat I may be wrong.
And after Gold awards, the way she flaunted with the trophy and posed for media as if its her award, not the award for the show..I did not like that gesture of her and I started feeling that she Believes in 'I' and not 'We'...and I have a problem I can't respect and take stand for people who don't believe in team work. Many extremely talented actors don't get award after years of working in industry, that does not mean they are less talented.
My intension is not to hurt anybody..As I was questioned, I shared my opinion. I am extremely sorry if I hurt any of you.
Let's give Alisha advantage of being a human being. There is nothing wrong in saying that you have to work more than others because of a particular role. She has been happy with her role & if sometimes she highlighted the fact of working more then, she is just stating a fact and not necessarily complaining every time. And she has clearly set a mark for a main lead playing 2 entirely different characters. Tara-Arohi make a huge part of IMMJ. She deserves a little more credit than other actors for the work she has done in the show. She used to work more & what's wrong in stating it. Never had the set reported Alisha for throwing tantrums for playing 2 characters & never in her post, she solely highlighted herself.
If you had to work overtime than your colleagues & were being rewarded for the overtime, will you stop mentioning the overtime you do at all?
As for pics with the trophy, the girl just won her first award & her character was a major contribution to that win, she has a right to have her moment and not be judged for the same. As far as I remember, they had a party next day & Alisha was happily celebrating their win with everyone else.
It's natural for the IMMJ fans to not accept Nia considering the Alisha's work as Arohi. That woman worked for 10 months in that role.
However, I agree that Alisha is much stronger as Tara than Arohi. But her portrayal of Arohi has her own place. As for not liking in her revenge track. It's not really her fault. She was acting according to the story given to her. She wasn't acting on her own. It was the revenge track that was not properly written. And that is writer's fault.
It's not nice to pass a judgement on assumptions that you yourself might be wrong. Channel might have considered a revamp only to ease Alisha's burden for so long. Giver her a break.
Peace to you.
