My thoughts on IMMJ2 and regressive content in ITV

The way these days all regressive shows are getting high trp it's getting difficult to enjoy most of the ITV shows.

I know after a point of time IMMJ2's plot and characters were destroyed beyond repair with plotholes and bad execution but then also it was not that irritating. (Sometimes it was but not overall)

Both leads were flawed and had hurt each other many times. But nothing was one sided neither love nor fault. Both were same.

In the initial days of marriage When Riddhima used to meet Kabir, even after marrying Vansh, that was because of her mission and when Vansh brought Ahana it was to take revenge. In both the cases the relationship was not romanticised.

Even their first marriage (which cannot be termed as normal, and it was wrong in both ways) was not the typical forced marriage where the FL only cries and follow what the so called ML is saying. Here the FL too had ulterior motives.

Also, no matter what, after knowing that Riddhima married him just for a mission by Kabir and they both were romantically involved too Vansh never questioned her character or s*utshamed her.

This does not mean IMMJ2 is the best show or RiAnsh got perfect progression and they were perfect couple or the story is also best but it's just that though it was unwatchable at many points of time, then also it was better than few shows which shows extremely toxic and regressive content. Also I know IMMJ2 didn't got more ratings because makers failed to maintain intrest of audience.

Good show or not, dosen't matter. The only thing that matter is TRP because it is business.

Agree with you.

Even though IMMJ2 didn't get that good ratings but the entire premise was quite promising.

Much much Interesting than the regressive dramas being shown now a days.

On paper the concept was just too good.. the cast was great and everyone played their parts well but the execution was not optimum.

I am not sure what but something was missing in the writer's vision ... I don't think he did proper justice to the way the show had to progress.

He ( the entire team of writers and producers) continuously missed out small but important details.

I mean so much more could have been shown in terms of mystery using Ridhhima's parents... Vansh's parents past... Ragini ... Even Ahana for that matter. But it just didn't pan out in best possible way.

Also I think majority of mess in immj2 was also due to TRP PRESSURE.

But even after all this I found it different and quite interesting.

Not sure how people are watching the itv dramas currently running, I get a headache with all the overdramatic situations.

When immj was started it pulled all the young audience towards it because it was something unique in itv .

Everything was going good but it failed in many ways

Both leads had their own motives and to fulfil those they can choose any path

And hence after a point i felt you cant justify them . They will love each other , plan and plot at back of ecah other but wont leave each other side

they had wonderful plots in hand , be it mafia side , vansh juvenile center backstory , riddhu parents , obession but our writers failed in execution , then trp pressure and many more things

The shows which are gaining trp they know what audience wants . But our writers never got pulse of audience

Not following any show but i know max shows are showing 2 biwi ek pati plot .
but the show which is ruling trp charts now i saw some clips they are really good with their tracks and not showing becahri bahu

It's true. Esp the last line. If numbers are good bad show becomes good and if numbers are bad good shows become bad.

Even though speaking the reality the first screen shot I felt was quite rude. I mean I get he is irritated that fans are tagging him everywhere and things are not in his hands but he could have avoided words like nonsense n all , sounded quite rude.

Public doesn't know exactly who takes decision and all. .. I just felt he could have clarified in a better tone.

It fell back because of poorly knit Story writing, They all had great ideas but the story flow, Perceptions of the character were not placed properly in the show.

Sometimes we don't even understand anything why one characters doing what they are doing , All the side characters have properly given point of view for there actions.

Sometimes even vansh has no point of view, that doesnt allow us to understand and sympathise him.His characters and opinions are always hidden to make us thrill but it only lead to confusion.

They have even uplifted the expectations by setting the character traits in the initial episodes and not being consistent with that , was a dissapointment .

They had a chance to make there regressive women abuse track into something meaningful but they wasted it with stupid story flow , They should have put a elaborate conversations between leads to make sense of Vansh's pain and Riddhima's pain, then there apology from both the sides and They should have made them open up in a little conversation.

That was needed, There was no need of redemption track, if they had shown us a proper conversation.

With that improper handling of the track, made never wanting to look back at the track ever. ( I cannot watch those episodes ever because of women abuse and some scenes doesn't make any sense , what vansh was trying to do doesn't make sense, when he know whatever siya told from the very first why everything changed when siya told him the same thing 🤪, Vansh didn't make any sense )

In immj2 everything was good but they mishandled the show .

RiAnsh were the bomb 💣 of the show which made the explosion.

RiAnsh lead us through the journey, No matter what.

Every story in the itv has regressive plots, That's nothing new.

I don't watch any itv show continually, I only watch if the track seems fine .

I pull myself back, if there is any stupid track going on.

Audience not watching the track should actually send the message to the producers but Only regressive tracks get trps ( Producers know the bitter truth and at the end of the day they are here for the business)

Ps: Immj2 is the only show, I have watched till end

Yes it was all good at starting, first 50 episodes were really nice, they have shown the mafia boy and the spy girl in a very attractive manner, but later it slow down and the makers forgets some tracks and keep on moving to next track in a fast was quiet a drawback

Really speaking after a long time I watched from the beginning to end the one and only immj 2

Actually I felt this show is far better from any other dramas, it attracted many people

All went now😤 missing those days😢

If season 3 comes will be nice but it's all in the makers hand
