Chapter 24- Epilogue
Chandrika Raisinghania couldn't be more proud and happy, she was right in chosing Riddhima as the bahu of her house, she had gelled with each and every member of the house so beautifully. When Vansh was married to Ragini, she could see the sadness in his eyes, but she never wanted to interfere in his life.
Thank god that because of Riddhima now he smiles more, though he and Aryan are busy with expanding the business, they are still able to make time for the family, especially Vansh.
Ansh too has opened up, he is excelling not in studies but in sports as well. He is completely Mama's boy, everyone is scared of hurting her lest they have to face his wrath.
Riddhima was over the moon, her best friend will soon become her sister in law as well, Aryan and Sejal were in a secret relationship since the trip where she was kidnapped.
She often tease, Aryan on how ultimately it was her how brought them together, Ishani is a fashion designer and has her own line of clothes, and she too is dating Angre, who is an employee in VR enterprise.
Sia is following Riddhima's footsteps and studying psychology as well. Riddhima too had started working, she had decided to major in child psychology, and she is slowly becoming brilliant psychiatrist as well.
Vansh was pissed off and grumpy, it was his birthday and his family and not even Riddhima had wished him, he had given so many hints but still she doesn't remember.
Aryan too had left early, citing his date with Sejal. He was working alone today, what he didn't know was the family members were preparing for a suprise party and everyone behaved as they had forgotten his birthday.
When he came back, the house was in darkness, he was confused even after telling her lots of time Riddhima would still wait for him, he reached the centre the light came on and everyone shouted Happy Birthday.
V- You guys remembered?
I- Of course bhai.
S- Yeh toh Riddhima Bhabhi ka plan tha. To suprise you.
R- Happy Birthday Jaan.
A- Happy Birthday papa.
V- Thank you all.
They brought the cake, and Vansh cuts the cake, he fed the first piece to Dadi and then Riddhima, and then Ansh who was looking at the cake like it would gobble up the whole cake.
Aryan and Sia had gifted him a new watch and a phone. Ishani had designed a new suit for him and Dadi had brought a new house for Riddhima Vansh and Ansh. But they refused because they wanted to be with them.
Ansh had made a card for him, and Vansh looked towards Riddhima, gesturing whether she got him a gift, but she whispered that his gift is in the room, he smriked and slyly and Riddhima blushed.
Everyone had gone back to their room, Vansh was still in the living room, thinking about his family and how they loved him, especially Riddhima, though he was happy, their were times when he felt insecure especially when he saw her with young men.
His heart knew that Riddhima loved him but his mind took time to understand it. But Riddhima was always with him, understanding his anger, frustration everything. He was truly lucky to have her.
Vansh had reached his room, Riddhima was waiting for him on the bed, he quickly changed into his night wear and went to lay down with her. He hugged her and all his triedness melts away,
V- So where is my gift?
R- Here open it. It was a box wrapped up beautifully bow and all. And another box.
Vansh opened the box, it had a stick with two lines on it. And another box which had written Happy Birthday Papa to be. Vansh was beyond shocked, and then he hugged Riddhima tightly.
V- Thank you so much, it is the best gift ever.
R- Are you happy?
V- I am more than happy. I love you so much.
R- I love you too.
This was a new beginning of their life, their life had been easy but with each other's help and the family's help they have overcome everything. The child will have a loving family, and equally loving brother, mother, and father.
Ps- So, the story is finally complete. I was thinking about doing a os series for this but only if everyone wants it. Anyway thank you for all your love and comments. Do tell me how it is.
