of course he has.. you know now the industry becomes more complex so many serials coming with social issues, so many new comers coming,so its difficult to chose and get a different and be different.. competitions gonna be tight day by day..i hope mishal comes with an entirely different avatar..for that he needs preparations look wise, acting wise .. may be who knows now he is in preparation mode 😉..within 6 months i think he will be back..

You're right, Anjali! Day by day, the competition is getting tougher on the small screen. Actors like Mishal have an advantage though because they're known for their talent and their fandom. I remember Mishal saying in an interview that he has an interest in politics. What if his next role were that of a young, aspiring politician? Who knows, right? 😉

Thanks for sharing Dazzy...atleast we know for sure that he is not coming back as of now...he does need a break as well for he worked daily in iIshq, hopefully will get to see him onscreen sooner. I'm sure he'll be back with a bang 😃 with another fabulous character.

I hope so too, Pearl! I hope he finds a show and a role to his heart's content. This time, I want him to put in a clause for a prime time slot in his contract. We know the man's more than capable of pulling in the magical numbers. 😊

I also don't want to see him in this kind of character, he should get a great character and story, and somehow I feel that Sangharsh is not that kind of show!!!!

So as of now let Mishal take some rest and concentrate to his business, after some time he will definitely come back on screen for all of us with a mind blowing show and a damn good character, till then, we have to wait!!!! 😳

I agree, Riti! Mishal worked really hard on the show and should go on a long vacation to recuperate from a year's worth of exhaustion. I bet his ten day trip to London wasn't enough rest. Glad he was able to take a breather at the time though. 😊 I wish I hadn't watched all of his shows once I first learnt of him on IKRS. It would've been nice to catch up on all of his shows and movie now that we're free. Oh well. We'll just have to wait for him to come back with the right script and character. 😊

And do you know who will play the roles of Rani and Preety? Some articles say : Tina Dutta(Uttaran) and Jasmin Bhasin (Tashan-e-Ishq). Do you think Mishal would've made a good pairing with them?

Sanjeeda Shaikh is playing Rani's character and Jasmin Bhasin Preity's. I think Mishal was being considered with Chhavi Pandey. I honestly don't think his pairing would've worked Tina Dutta. I don't see them having any physical chemistry. His pairing with Jasmin Basin might've worked, she has a cuteness to her. I personally hope that whenever Mishal makes his comeback, we get to see him with an actress that'll equally contribute to making their pairing work. My obvious pick is alway going to be Eisha as Mishal's leading lady, but I know she's busy with ETR2. A part of me would like to see Mishal with an established actress like Drashit, Sanaya, Jenny, or Sriti, but they're all either presently working or making their comebacks with other actors.
