Mock N Rock today highlights an extremely entertaining , often used plot by soaps and well mastered by IKRS - Kidnapping.

What could be more heart jerking than the thought of a loved one gone missing. Heck , the PH has made a mockery of it so why not me.

Some of us are parents . Even if not we all have minded kids our own or others , Can you imagine a scenario that you take a kid to the park to play and for a very brief moment you get distracted and take your eyes off him playing in the sand . The next thing you know the kid cannot be seen as he is hiding behind the Jungle Gym playing peekaboo . The heart misses a beat and the sheer panic of him missing in front of your eyes and the thousand deaths one goes thru . A nightmare of loosing a kid , getting kidnapped. Heaven forbid on such an atrocity .

Viplav and Kamini the conscientious parents of a kid , their own or their neighbors yet to be determined , in gods cruelty have to face such a situation. As any sensible parent, reporting the case to the police at the earliest is the right thing to do . Arranging for search parties in and around the hotel or engaging grandparents is of secondary consideration , informing the authorities having a larger jurisdiction is a grand idea. Well done.

The police now have the kids picture , a lead and a suspect . Effie cent as they are they have him in custody as well. Beating a confession out of him is how cases get solved and the Motive of the crime can be established. Oh well that is easy - he is a poor bloke in need of a fast buck unfortunately sitting next to a public phone which he dialed for a person with no face . Unfortunate I say coz his mother when growing up never taught him not to speak with strangers specially the one without a face. There is a price to be paid and the punches from the hawaldaars are well deserved , a beating he should have got years ago.

While the police do their thing behind bars the worried parents sit outside deep in thought . Is anyone thinking of the poor child or experiencing the palpitations of a fast beating panicked heart ? Its hard to say from their wooden expressions which I'd like to believe is Shock. Kamini , an aggravated mother does bring up her missing son once or
twice between the hawk like watch she keeps on her husband and the aggrieved father with lost eyes looks at his ex-wife for answers . Viplav you are mistaken the topic here is your missing son and not Dhani's relationship with Parshiya ..get a grip . Shock has a funny way of expression, it can make you do some silly stunts like hit a policewalla for a snide comment. what Viplav needed was the soft cuddly caress from his ex lover what he got was her shawl , which will have to do for now. Lambi Judaiii ...till you both get some sense. Harsh but true.

Really writers... there is more panic when one looses a pet and here we are talking of a kid. You need to make a phone call to the writers of Crime Patrol maybe to get some ideas of how to handle a kidnapping case. Calling CSI writers maybe expensive for an international call.

And you Viplav . Can you not brood and watch Dhani go soft on Parshiya . The kidnapper has asked for aransom. should you not be arranging for that or coming up with a plan to get back your son ? First just get rid of that bandage on your head its interfering with your grey matter.


What do you say folks ? Have i covered all ground or did I miss any cdetail of the aftermath of a kidnapping ?


PS : For the uninitiated who are new to this series ...instead of me spilling my venom, anger, ridicule and negativity in other posts I took upon myself to write a daily post about the jarring , illogical and indigestible story and happenings of our favorite show IKRS , in the hope that exorcism may cure by obsession.

I couldn't agree with you more, Prem! What saddens me more than anything is how lightly things like murder, theft, and kidnapping are all taken so lightly on daily soaps. Majority of the time without any repercussions because we don't ever get to see the evil brought to any kind of justice. The love that a parent has for his or her child is stronger than any other kind of love in the world. God forbid if something were to happen to your child, you would die a million deaths. Where is that emotional connect one has to their own son? Whether you're the biological parents, adopted parents, or foster parents, you've taken on the complete responsibility of raising a child and caring for him until he's an adult. Queen Evil would probably sell her own soul to the devil for one night in Viplav's bed, so faking her own son's kidnapping is cheesecake. As for Viplav, I'm not understanding his present frame of mind. He isn't anything like Queen Evil, then why am I not seeing any kind of remorse from him for his own son? He's forgotten his son and he's completely focused on Dhani's equation with Parshiya. He's preoccupied in this guessing game of is she or is she not? As if Dhani's marriage matters more than Atharva's life. What is the matter with Viplav? He's literally become the green-eyed monster who can't see anything else going on around him except his ex-wife having the galls to touch another man in front of him.

Today's episode was the stupidest I've seen of Ishq. Viplav and Parshiya both beating the crap out of the cops at the police station in a very synchronized manner had me laughing out loud. I couldn't believe the lunacy I was watching in front of me. 🤢 I'm not even going to get into Dhani and Kamini's attempt at controlling both men. Seriously, who stands there on the side watching their husband/ex-husband fight with COPS while calling out "Aji sunthe ho...?" Why are you not getting in the middle and pulling both men apart? Are you afraid you'll mess up your hair or break your nail? 😕 As for Viplav and Parshiya's continuous display of machoism, very attractive guys. You look like real winners with your fists up. 🤔

Great post ratna. Thanks for giving us a way out to let out our disappointment over this once loved show. Agreed with you dazz. I was so sad watching yesterday's episode it was the first time I changed the channel while VIP is onscreen. Come on that synchronized fight scene with him & Persia beating the life out of the cops... Couldn't stand it. By far the worst scene and can't believe my favorite actor been part of this scene. VIP is a lawyer how can they shoot such a scene!!!l osing patience over VIP expressons, which by the way more of an editing work than the actual ones. See they used the same expression in many places. Get a grip VIP/mishal we fan all are here only for you.

Can you believe VIP had about 5 words in terms of dialogue!! Persia had more dialogue, screen time, actual scenes!!

One thing I noticed they used a bd(should I say hand double) when dhani touching VIP. See that hand had short nails. Wonder y the need for hand double it's not like it was a big scene. Mmm wishing for a rocking episode guys don't like to bash our hero VIP and tired of mocking or show As I said this so draining. Nothing seems to be working. Maybe should try quitting cold turkey...

Sorry to post such a negative one. Trying to stay positive contrary to all that been happening. Will never follow another show with this much vigor and attachment again..
