Yes want this show to end in once Mishal's contract is over. I would like to see him in a challenging role in a finite series with a modern and fast paced concept like Reporter or Dehleez. If it is a finite series then the story moves according to fixed plan and the characters are not mutililated like it was done in this show.

Well said captkirk...
Totally agree with you. In fact Indian tv should go thru this change immediately... The infinite storyline is absurd and dragging ... It's waste of time. Freshness needed big time.
Indian tv can come out with a concept of seasons... Like western soaps... That will give so much space to actors and the ph to come out with beautiful concepts...

Ekta who made the infinite soaps work big time... Herself is looking at finite series with Naagin and kavach... ... I wish all makers look at it from this angle.
What great justice it would be for actors like mishalz calibre.

agree with u capt and nutty😊.. Indian PH should quit their ideas of making never ending shows and concentrate on showing us some good shows of finite series.. In this way talented actors like mishal and others will get quite a few shows and characters to portray..
Like seriously Pakistani dramas are infinite times better than makhkhis and BVs.. they give us some worth watching stories and not some stupid illogical dramas which will run for decades🤢

Captkirk & Nutty,
Agree with you about finite series & seasons for shows like in the west.
But in India, there is no dearth of audience who are willing to watch crappy shows that go on & on...
TV channels are tapping into rural areas...that's where they get their TRPs
The educated, urban class do not matter as much. As long as they have an audience, such shows stay & channel makes money. Why is it that suddenly every other show now has super natural elements in them, becoz there is an audience that watches it.
I recently read about this in an article.
Is this the kind of progress we have made?? Very sad.

Unfortunately misfan... You r right. The rural Indian market still needs to cope with forward thinking... But again even in the west we have so many vampire stories that show what not... Which again is quite similar to our naagins and makhkhis...
Nevertheless... Some smart business will realize the worth of having more finite series than one infinite series... And if that takes off .. Then the rest will follow.
One reason I feel gud about Ekta kapoorz shows... She has constantly changed ... From Saas Bahu drama to love story to super naturals... With super naturals she has changed from infinite to finite series... So I hope she sets a trend.

I will definitely be watching .My favorites are the ones at the very starting and the Gazipur ones. I watch these even now from time to time.
Like many of you I wish IKRS was a finite show.where the storyline would have been chalked out from the beginning and the makers would have stuck to it. That's what happened in early days of Indian Television and we got such beautiful stories. I think nowadays the makers start with a bank of around 40 episodes so ones at the start have a taut storyline and then as time goes by the trps dictate the narrative and then we know what happens! Our show is a living proof of that.
