Actually Mehru and Prem, Vips is always impulsive and does things without thinking of the consequences. Dulari though illiterate is more worldly wise as she has suffered many a times so she looks at every situation in a pessimistic way. The tragic events in her life has made her so. Actually Vipu deserved a shouting though not a slap. But Dulari is Dulari-Doesn't spare anyone least of all her bachuaji!

What I could not get was why is Raja so hell bent one year later to find his brothers killer and at the same time has taken time to get married and move on.

Should Raj not have concentrated in solving the murder first and then getting hitched ?
