Hey Hammie,
Birthdays and celebrations - Oh how I love them . And festivals and marriage ceremonies. Why are they so dear ? for the reason that people forget their differences, sorrows, disputes and whatever bad is going on in their lives and celebrate life with loved ones. These days are far few and beyond thus more precious.
And so comes Dhani's birthday and who better to join the party than Viplav , RL , the ladies at the ashram and her future mom in law. Surprise surprise. The celebration starts with a sweet midnight rendezvous of the couple and some poetry recitation when Rl barges in to wish her friend with a hug & kiss . Having been denied the same himself he pulls her to some downstairs where the ashram ladies are waiting with a cake. HE notices his mom who he rushes to hug , a very sweet moment with mother and son's genuine delight to see each other . The cake is cut and fed when Viplav gestures Dhani to feed his mom as well . Hesitatingly she does and in return Kanak force feeds the cake and even pose for a picture together . The entire scene was a delight watching a young girl who till sometime knew nothing else but her Vidhwa dharam stood celebrating her birthday , laughing and pampered by Viplav .
Kanak banished from AN is on a mission to separate he lovers . Watching them go lovey-dovey on each other her plan is to instigate Viplav to admonish Dhani on her disregard and ill treatment of his mom. She has been asked to sleep in the open , made to sweep the floors ... and all her plans are for nothing as Dhani understands her tricks and Viplav thinks nothing much of them . Her next act should be more impactful as it will be the last of Dhani she prepares a poisoned halwa just for her . Kajal was simply fantastic yesterday . her watching the couple "enjoy " while stuffing cake in her mouth or the "Go Viplav go your work is done here " pushing him out .
the entire episode was light hearted and had a positive tone to it. Some levity was required after a lot of drama.
take care and talk to you soon.
