I like dhaanis dressing and cvs are showing the reality. She is a poor widow living in a ashram. They work in Mandir to survive. So we can't expect her to wear colourful or some costly designer sarees.
As already viplav stated he loved her inner beauty not the way she looks. So he don't care what she wears.
