Hey Hammie .

I am very much here back home as the start of the year brings its own new challenges specially getting out of the holiday mode and get back to real life. Along with it Reel life too is becoming interesting . The progression in the IShq story is at a fast pace . I hope the makers have a grip as to where it is going. Meanwhile very relevant topics are being interlaced with the love story which is the right way to go when a social issue is addressed.

Relevance of a Kundli and the believer versus the non believer . Cannot say about other cultures but in hindu marriages matching a kundli is one of the rituals. Not a must but i know the elders like to get it done , good or bad custom is debatable. What happens when an issue is identified be it the bride or groom . Families then make the appropriate decision on moving ahead or backing out . And here comes the conflict between the believer and the ones who do not for the path to be taken. Viplav does not think it to be important and relevant but Dhani does .What is more important The present which we have control over or the future that is unknown . Can Viplav by not believing today reverse the future or should Dhaani by believing in it today risk her future. There is no correct answer and neither is it black or white . its a tradition that is not going away soon.

Though for this one I am with Viplav . A modern guy who thinks that you can overcome destiny if there a strong belief in love and your partner. A guy who knows what he wants and will fight for it . His heart and head are in synch telling him that Dhaani is the girl for him and nothing will stop him. And with that confidence he proceeds to push aside any doubts raised by Dhaani or his family . For any social change to happen strong guys like Viplav are required who stand up against these blockages setup by society and people and for this I respect this character a lot.

Not spending much time licking his wounds Viplav ponders as to the reason of his rejection with Raj. "there was something said about Destiny and horoscope by Suv " sets him on the path of questioning the pandit for an answer. It becomes obvious to him that Dhaani knows of the vidhwa-yog hence her hesitation to marry. Viplav knowing her well sends her a suicide note . Dhaani unable to stop herself rushes to save his life . Loved the next few minutes of the angry Viplav "Oh so you care that is why to threw me out of your house. Rejected me . I had come to ask you for what was bothering you and you did not say anything " i could have kissed the hand who wrote the scene coz rarely in soap land do you have someone talking straight . of course the lovers make up and head towards the next battlefield.

The Tripathi army is ready to receive him and without premise Viplav launches his attack . Could further kiss the writer here. "Mom for the last time this girl is my destiny . my horoscope get that straight. I am off to get married if you wish to come then do else don't" DT who knows Vip will just do that wishes to buy some time to think agrees on an engagement as soon as possible . Dhaani poor girl is dragged around like a rag doll caught between them all.

She finally gets a chance to speak her mind to Vip . "What you just said inside was not appropriate I did not like it ". A hug coming the way of the writer for creating a realistic scene of a couple talking in TV land. Vip explains that he has learnt this art since childhood that unless he does not create a drama its not possible for him to get anything. I wonder if Dhaani realized that this is the exact thing he does with her too be it pretending to go to Boston and making her confess or sending a suicide note for her to relent..his habit of crying wolf. "Don't love me so much . It scares me " ... such an honest confession of a girl who till recently did not have a reason to live or die . LOVED this scene.

the episode Hammie was phenomenal in its writing , acting , execution and message. ( the suicide point could do without the skyline of mumbai but i will ignore that ) . so much more can be said but i'd better stop with the hugging and kissing.

thanks Hammie for giving me a space to ramble. If i seem incoherent then it is because I am . Your title again made me check the dict. I wondered what fiddlesticks -bow of a violin - as i understood the word to be means here. so that was a good to learn a new meaning.

Hammie, all your takes are nicely paced and give a run for the Creative's money! I have watched all the episodes now and it appears that the CVs are out to keep us permanently on our toes, what with all the suspense.

Kanak excels as the conniving banshee villain, now subtle, and now drama-queen. DT's mind is too wily even for his own good. I am surprised that he is able to keep track of all the intricacies of his various saazishes.

Eisha as Dhani is a fresh, sweet face, eye candy, really. What to talk about misal-less Mishal, who fits the role like a glove. His nuanced and seasoned acting is areal treat to watch.

Looks like we are heading towards the shaadi drama. If the engagement was so entertaining and long drawn, thanks to the various shenanigans of the harridan, what will the shadi resemble? I think, with Kanak making an unsavory friend and ally in Trip, Vip and Dhani will get to marry each other only in another life.

My question is that if the marriage takes place, what will be the separating factor? Separating factor in terms of loss of trust between Vip and Dhani might be in store for us. Or perhaps a physical separation? What are your thoughts? How might the show go on?
