The built up was awesome till 18th Dec Epsds but the 19th December Episode was ruined as they wanted to rush with confession. I was disappointed. Let's see how they proceed this week .!!

It was beautiful and subtle... the saffron fanfare, the mandir, the male version of the song, the idea of and the feelings in the Om locket were trademarkish Ishq Ka Rang Safed. Loved how they prolonged the music in the background to let the respective emotions dance on both their faces... How on Dhani running away, Viplav first stares after her and then directly looks at the idol of the God in the mandir in the opposite direction, as if requesting clarifications from him which Dhani couldn't wait to provide before running away. I was completely invested in it. Nothing was ruined for me, went with the flow of it. Things just could have been a tad more reflective... :-)

I felt that so much efforts went in for delivering the scene in a near magic way that it eventually became, that somehow the dialogue tangent was probably among the last of the priorities. And it hurts that WHAT A SPECTACULAR WHOLESOME scene it would have been... :-)

Anyways like a few of you commented, the writers probably have left that exploration for the due course... #LoveIKRS

Maybe I didn't have very high expectations to feel let down😆

I would note that Viplav didn't necessarily only declare the husband-wife drama as his reason for falling in love with her. His dialogues specifically mentioned that that set of events made him REALIZE he's in love with her...not necessarily crediting that as the only reason he loves her.

Also, he did mention as part of his proposal speech that everything feels nice when he's with her and that even while fighting with her, he felt an apnapan.

So as far as I can tell, they gave him a pretty decent proposal speech. Hardly any show has the time/inclination to sum up the entire love story in a proposal speech.

In this case, the heartfelt nature of the delivery vis a vis MR's acting and the simplicity of the dialogues worked for me.

Agree with you. Actually I wanted them to prolong the drama. Cvs could have shown how Dhani is traumatised with the whole humiliation stuff. But since Cvs quickly wanted confession there was no proper closure of that particular plot. It was like in one scene Dhani is dragged out from Shiv Mandir and tied with the tree and in next scene you have Dhani going to same Shiv Mandir where Viplav is going to confess. I wish they first settled with oost humiliation trauma and then bring confession. I couldn't connect with ViDha in last part of episode.

That part even I found quite stupid...lol but then that's usual in IKRS...one second Viplav is busy spitting fire about protecting Dhaani and they are showing such a harrowing sequence of what all Dhaani is going through and within 5 minutes, everyone is behaving normally like they didn't just go through such a horrifying experience...instantly jump back to happy go lucky romance😆

But most of the audience seems to enjoy this instant positivity😆

Exactly..!! Lol Instant Noodles Ka Zamaana Hai so everything is instant. Hope ViDha love story is progress in proper way. It's high time Viplav need to see through his sugar coated Dadaji and dig out the truth about complicated relationships of his Family.

Firstly I thought the scene was done impeccably ( yeah maybe not the round and round of the camera which made me dizzy ) .

Standing in a mandir , asking Bholenath for courage Viplav on bent knees asked for her hand. Viplav/Mishals voice modulation and a matter of fact declaration won me over.

In terms of his recount as to where and when he fell in love , I think it is immaterial and more importantly he has not finished falling in love. His realization is not complete. He does not know Dhaani and the more he gets to know her the deeper he will fall .

Love is a journey not a destination and it has just started .

We may get another confession down the line - who knows.

Sorry it was a let down for you . The one thing though I do agree that the confession could have waited a bit. He should have inquired after her well being before jumping to propose to her. She just went through a harrowing experience and all Viplav could think of was proposing !!!

Hey TM@ I kind of agree with your post. Like you many seem to be disappointed with the love confessions part. Especially the way he gave more insistence on their pati patni drama. But I guess it was just the dialogue writer's fault. Dialogues many times can make a less emotional scene more impactful with their powerful dialogues, but here the confession looked weaker coz of the usage of inappropriate words, I guess! Viplav didn't fall in love in that single act of drama, but it's been evolving for a long time, it's just that he never realised his true feelings all the time.

I guess the dialogue writer should've paid more attention to the factual aspects of the story and of Viplav's feelings. It's bad that you felt cheated and a let down, coz viewers have various expectations on their fav shows and couples. It's a pity that cvs can't fulfil every one of their aspirations. Though I can surely say Mishal and Eisha are huge advantage of this show. They'll never let us down in their performances, I hope!
