An older woman's wiser final appeal to a younger woman's limited understanding, or a gentle clarifying reprimand?Dadi reminds Dhani about the repercussions of her impulsive act of spurning Viplav's bridal gift at his face.The following night marks an auspicious occasion ,worship for her wedding. A fraught Dadi, cries and protests and points out the injustice, all members will participate in it except her grandson Viplav!.He considers her happiness and opts thus to stay out of his own house. Had he not been a decent bloke ,with mean intent to harm her, he would have stayed and continued to be obnoxious. Dhani's silence makes dadi disillusioned, and she leaves in a huff! one look at the wedding dress..Dhani chose to keep rather than dispose off.. forces her to take a look within herself. there lies a degree of remorse, but how will he know about it?what can she do?
Dashrant is not at peace somehow, with Tripurari..meets him and reminds him, he is getting married so enough of his womanising frivolities! The fiend as usual lies through his teeth , tells Dashrant he was busy with wedding dcor. Dashrant snubs him, that has been done by Viplav.. Dashrant recognizes this worthless! Tripurari and threatens him he'd better let the marriage go through smoothly without tarnishing his good name or else? Tripurari as usual assures Dashrant and himself too with a false sense of complacency.That nothing can go against them both..
A True friend can see right through a mate,Raj can read Vipal like a book ,he protests it's not Dhani whose lot the plot but him! as his mate he fails to understand , how can Viplav can see any compatibility between himself and Dhani? this kind of nonsense only happens in films not in real life! Viplav roars why the hell she threw the clothes away? Raj replies with conviction, it was most surely needed! to knock him into his senses! Viplav certainly doesn't seem to mind this discussion.. it's about Dhani ,after all.. but Raj also reminds him of what a feisty, mad rude girl she is.. a phone call from home? Raj jibes, he should tell them too he's stark raving mad.. Viplav wonders dadi?and answers..dadi what is it? silence on the other end..then he can't believe his ears.. hello... he takes this call, standing up! why is she phoning??.Dhani replies. tomorrow there's puja.. so?he replies with attitude, but she continues, erhh, every body will be there? to which he retorts, naturally, you're staying at my house! your wedding's taking place at my residence! the worship is taking place there too! so why won't everyone be there?.. Dhani can sense his hurt of being banished from his own house.. she musters up courage and mumbles, you should be there too.. put off by her attitude, he asks her, what exactly do you think of yourself?today what you did! humiliated me so badly! you expect me to attend your wedding worship! he bellows angrily.. Dhani carries on, I hope to see you.. and Viplav cuts the phone in a fit of rage! then he goes and moans to Raj, what the hell does she think of herself? after insulting me so much she expects me to attend her wedding puja? why would I go? absolutely and categorically not! it's her wedding! her puja! why should I go? don't wish to be insulted again? Raj looks at him bemused and throws him the car keys, here take the car! and on your way back fill up the petrol..viplav yells told you why I am not going! and Raj walks off with the roll to his eyes..
Bijli continues to look after a frail Suvarna and yet again reminds her she's safe from Tripurari and his men.. Suvarna shows gratitude yet again to Bijli for saving her life. mohan one of Bijli's men betrays them by informing Tripurari..Bijli.. seems more relaxed about warding off Tripurari.. but Suvarna is insecure , she has recognized the savage animal in the shape of the demonic tripurari
While the completely wrong man for Dhani awaits her arrival at the puja. Complete with the scared fire. Rajlaxmi brings Dhani dressed in lemon colour sari for puja.. he gives her a lecherous sided glance as she dhani sits beside him .. they sit worship starts.. Dulari is clearly pleased but her poor daughter looks into the tongues the sacred flames.. for Dhani's eyes, search for the one she asked to come..she said she hoped and now her hope filled eyes yearn to catch one look of him.. if he comes , then it will mean she is forgiven.. and she will be at peace.. her eyes look out of the window right in front of her.. maybe he won't come disappointed she looks at dadi who sits sullen. Yes she was horrid to him, the awful hurtful things she said to him! how she hurled his present at his face! and dadi's warning,"there is someone who is creating misunderstandings between the two of you... he is not how you perceive him to be dhani!
Viplav strolls in before the window with his hands in his pockets supports himself against the column outside and gazes at the morose faced Dhani. dadi spots him! calls his name to announce his arrival.. to Dhani I wish to believe! Viplav!!dhani looks up,he has come.. Dashrant turns to the window, Dulari and Tripurari both frown angrily! Tripurari looks threatened, and he checks Dhani and Viplav's gazing at each other! dadi gets up goes out and greets him, she invites him in.. as he's the one who worked so hard in the arrangements of the wedding.. Viplav, kisses dadi's her hand..some how the lad can sense dadi must have knocked sense in this stupid girl.. why else would she phone him? viplav tells dadi he prefers to be outside.. sensible idea as from here he can watch her more so than the ceremony.. Dhani looks at him and he turns from the window rests his back and the back of his head against the column.. slowly turns his head towards Dhani's face steals glances at her with his sided narrowed angry eyes.. Dhani looks across and meets his eyes.. as tongues of fire dance between them he glares at her.. and she accepts his anger with her big bold submissive eyes.. but unimpressed he turns his head and looks ahead.Dhani looks disappointed and when he moves his head at her, he screws his eyes and gives her a dirty look.. he catches her lower her eyes in remorse..Tripurari grabs her hand to remind her about the puja.. Viplav watches all laid back at the proceedings from his vantage point outside the window.. he can see Dhani is not happy but ,then it's not his business and he hangs his head.. Dhani and Tripurari both perform the final rites of the puja..and with that the puja concludes and the priest tells the couple , to peform bhole Nath arti.. Viplav turns around and watches from outside.. the couple and the families move to the idol of lord Shiva.. Viplav looks down.. then rests his back again as the families continue ..
He who observes everything in silence...the good and wicked alike..the watchful eyes of lord Shiva.. Tripurari and Dhani perform arti while the rest of the families watch behind them.. Then lord Shiva acts! suddenly a diva falls by Dhani's sari! and catches fire! Viplav is the first to spot it,the fire is a sign from the lord himself! for Viplav to barge into this mockery of a worship and be the redeemer of the vulnerable! the fire catches the sari pleats , with speed of lightening Viplav barges in! grabs the vessel of Ganges water,to put out the fire to Dhani's sari but Tripurari grabs Viplav's arm with the words! babaa what are you doing putting pure holy water of Ganges water on a widow? Dhani and Dulari are in shock after hearing Tripurari's words of bigotry.. but will anything be done?? Viplav pulls his arm and throws the water on the burning sari to put out the fire! Dashrant swiftly comes to Tripurari and whsipers angrily, keep yout mouth shut got that! the sari still burns and Viplav falls to his knees and uses this bare hands to stub out the flames! Dhani cannot bear his palm burning and she grabs it in her hands tenderly to see how much was burnt and he turns his face away from her in pain.. Tripurari than pulls Dhani's away and asks if she was fine? she pulls her arm back from him and in horror she replies to him she's fine... Viplav's family fusses over him but he rejects their attention and Kanak glares at Dhani as if to say all because of you! Viplav gives Dhani a look and she looks anxious.. and he tells her to change Raj laxmi takes her away.. Tripurari gives Viplav a dirty look as if he'll murder him.
Back at the Ashram.. Dulari instead of being anxious about what Tripurari said about Dhani being a widow! she is more concerned about Tripurari possibly calling off the wedding due to the way her daughter held Viplav's burnt hand.. Inderani approaches the subject as a likely prospect.. she was sure some undeclared ,unnamed bond exists between the two.. she is clear that vikal babu has deep feelings for Dhani.. and today it became apparent that Dhani too might have feelings for him.. Dulari still cringes at the idea! and finds it offensive against her daughter!such unholy thoughts! days before her daughter's wedding ..it's not surprising that Dulari is such an unworthy woman that she never even bothered to see that the man she loathes.. saved her daughter's life yet again today! Dulari will hate Viplav ,she hates change and Viplav is revolution for her!
Durga wishes to buy a nethni for Dhani and wants to take Dhani with them..Trip ,gets a phone about Bijli and Suvarna's location.. he tells his mother some urgent business has come up! tells them to go and buy and he'll catch up with them... he leaves, and Dhani looks wary of him now ..will she say no to this marriage?
He turns up at Bijli's house all guns blazing! roughs her up! she says su is dead! he threatens her, but Bijli laughs she'll come to stop his wedding! and change it into a day of mourning for him! shouts Suvarna will destroy him and he won't be able to do anything! he spurns her aside and unties the man who was his informer.. the man says Suvarna is heading for the station..
Suvarna draped in shawl, walks painfully on the road ,looking for transport! Suddenly due to weakness she collapses on the road! people gather around her.. Viplav drives by, stops by the small crowd around someone..tells them off instead of looking at the person.. they should have moved her side off the road.. he suddenly stands over the person is shocked to see who it'is? he mouths.. Suvarna,?
The highlight scene was the visual messaging between Dhani and Viplav.. the sari catching fire scene was a bit of a letdown.. I felt it underplayed.. I expected tripurari exposed.. but then I had to remind myself it's Suvarna who will bring about Tripurari's revelation.. Dulari is as awkward a sever..dadi is the benign eternal fairy godmother.. over all a good episode.. Hamlet53 1.12.15
Precap: Viplav takes her to hospital. doc says this girl came with her husband to have an abortion.. Dashrant orders Dhani wedding that was meant to happen a few days from now, will happen tonight!
