IKRS 6th October 2015 ep 50 My Take.

It's a safety requirement in this day and age that people ,things can be deceptive. More vigilance needs to exerted especially when dealing with strangers. However in untoward or emergency situations, as human beings we tend to jump in to offer our services to perhaps, save a person's life! however dubious or safe a person may appear. Being widows and seeing one of their kind obviously churns up emotions of empathy in the Ashram. The decision to take in a total stranger comes fairly easily to the rather simple widows. Viplav attempts to challenge their decision but Dhani hints he is not only insensitive but blind too as anyone can see the woman is unwell and needs help. Viplav is only attempting to raise the widows attention to the fact that sometimes in situations , they have to be sure ,they are taking a correct decision of taking an unknown stranger into their home. But as he anticipates, Dhani as per usual bites his head off and reminds him , he too is a stranger not a guest! ahhh Dhani' corrosive remarks.. petals of love for him.. or is he thick skinned? takes them all lying down! Viplav sees the white brigand clearly relates to this stranger.. as she appears one of them

The swoon gets the stranger in a white sari into their house.. now since she's got her strength back all she has to tell them is a run of the mill story of a young widow and hopefully she will strike a chord of compassion, mercy and above all an invitation to become one off their commune family. Without a doubt they buy her sad story! why? they can all relate to it! Viplav too hears her complete tale of woe but he retains certain bits lodged in his brain.. the woman is illiterate , without kin, homeless and has come to Kashi looking for salvation? Freedom? but he finds her interesting and thus keeps an eye on her and an ear on what she says.. her name is Tulsi .. like the one in the Ashram courtyard.. Viplav notes this Tulsi is probably not a freeloader , as she begs for her leave despite the repeated invitation to stay.. but it's the pitiful picture she gives of.. she'll spend the rest of her life at the steps of the mandir.. that makes Viplav sees how this Tulsi plays on the widows pathos.. she says , she wouldn't want to be a burden.. and Dhani replies tersely they carry a heavier burden than her .. so Dhani insists Tulsi stay.. Tulsi looks around and choses a corner of the courtyard where the open drum stands.. Viplav is quick to observe her keen in interest the corner where the water drum stood. In fact he thinks it's very peculiar that despite the fact , Tulsi is asked to sleep with the rest of girls in a room. This Tulsi wants the corner by the water drum and Viplav challenges her why the corner? Now for Tulsi it's is a moment when she can sus out how much support she works up for herself.. she doesn't need to say anything ..Dhani does instead, she tells Viplav off, takea look at her condition' and keep your arguments for the court..you constantly are under some evil spell ,constantly talk rubbish!!

The aim of the stranger widow is to win the trust of these widows over ,so an act of a clean over of their Ashram, should clean sweep any niggling doubts they have about her past and credibility.. and as for this man..she has to be alert with him around! next morning Viplav confronts her brushing his teeth.. comments how Tulsi doesn't allow stress to take over her life.. she does the mistake of being shirty with him.. so do you stay here? haven't seen you around? Viplav pounces on her ,so does that mean she is from Benaras...? No.. I meant like this is a widows shelter and you must be the owner? She wards his attention off but then Dhani jumps in.. no he's not the owner! he's the gardener! .. Viplav laughs and warns her, he's not the owner but one who keep's an eyes on everything that goes in the Ashram.. then what follows next is a full blown slinging match between Viplav and Dhani for all to see! the arguing is enough for Tulsi to see a certain spark between these two... Viplav however.. Tulsi finds amusing.. his talk and mannerisms ,as for Dhani.. Viplav let's every one see what a sharp back chatting tongue she has! both call each other names but Dhani goes totally militant with Viplav .. out of bounds, till Inderani tells her to button up her mouth! a moment which delights Viplav to no end! Tulsi can also judge that Inderani is the figure of authority whom every one holds in great esteem..

Dashrant gets a visit from the boys in blue! is told that systematically those mandirs are robbed which belong to him.. and as such people, are saying it could be connected to tax money owed to the state which Ram the inspector demanded from him.. to shed more light on this matter he might have to answer questions at the station.. Dashrant in disgust says, this is surely the end of times when people rob from the temples! What an irony as he is one such man in a reverent position who does rob the temples.. Dashrant does wonder who is behind this action? Kanak in the shadows sneers, you prick me with a needle .. but now watch how god will use his trident to bring you down!

Dhani goes towards the drum of water to fill a pail.. unaware that a hung live wire dips in it! Tulsi watches.. Dhani walking towards it.. but Tulsi rans to Dhani just before she dips the pail in the water.. and throws her aside ! the wire short circuits against the metal pail.. and Tulsi runs and gets a wooden pole and moves the live wire out of the water! all run to the courtyard and check to see if Dhani is fine.. Viplav runs to the fuse box and turns off the mains! Yes Tulsi does save Dhani's life and emerges as a hero now in the eyes of the widows.. Viplav though is puzzled.. by her role in the incident , what she did shows some knowledge of the good and bad conductors of electricity.. of course he challenges her take earlier of being uneducated.. but Tulsi has an answer ready for the nosey gent!.. in fact she tells another sob story ,that gathers her more empathy for her.. her husband died of being electrocuted! and she had stood and watched! breakfast time..

Viplav watches.. Tulsi now knows who to praise and win over.. Inderani! who made the breakfast.. also the head of this place.. Viplav waits to be served but is served last by Dhani. Raj laxmi offers him her plate but he teases.. no he's waiting for buchiya! to serve him.. she does come to him eventually and he goes into a sulk but accepts eventually.. Tulsi looks at Dhani once she serves her and says, it seems I have some bond with her.. like have known her for years.. and Viplav asks doesn't his face remind her of someone ,a brother, or friend ,like someone close? And Dhani suggests to Tulsi .. doesn't his face remind you of a rakhsas?? He goes yes may be you too have a rakhsas in your life? Tulsi giggles , as Dhani tells him off, he never cares for other's, sentiments, just makes fun of everyone.. and she knows he's doesn't mean well he's only jealous.. and Viplav goes what??and Tulsi smiles shyly at their bantar.. or does she enjoy Viplav's tease talk!?? Is Tulsi going to bring these two closer? Or is Viplav going to use her as a tool to make Dhani jealous? He seems to be going Tulsi ji ..Tulsi ji flirty Viplav or smart Viplav? giving her the I am suave impression, but on the other hand 007..

Durga in hospital asks Tripurari if Dashrant had made contact? Dashrant phones him and wants to meet him straight away.. Both men have their own axes to grind.. Dashrant wants Tripurari to find out why is his whole being is targeted, like his self - respect among the community.. Tripurari tells him, his house has burnt down and his mother is ready to be discharged ..she needs a safe and stable permanent place of residence .. like this home.. Kanak enjoys.. when Dashrant sizzles or rather gets an electrocution .. Tripurari brings with him some villagers too and he sings praises of Dashrant and manipulates him into perhaps getting a permanent residence at Dashrant's house.. by hook or by crook.. like Kanak suggested!

Now in the dead of the night.. Tulsi is in her true colours.. which is not really a white sari.. she gets up.. pulls out her phone goes to the corridor contacts someone, reports her welfare and that she has got herself a base at this Ashram... hush the lion.. the not so sleepy lion.. does not sleep tonight ..he prowls the jungle tonight... a pair of contracted lion like eyes, watch a deer! Viplav catches her talking surreptitiously to someone on her mobile phone! she sees his shadow on the wall and starts to sleep walk and he confronts her! Dhani turns up and asks Viplav what he is doing there..? he replies he tried to save Tulsi from walking into the table.. Tulsi worms herself out of the situation by saying she now sleep walks .. after her husband's death.. Viplav retorts , didn't know she talks on her phone during her insomnia? Dhani tells him off and saves Tulsi and they both go to their room..

The tangled lock.. small mercies! Next day.. Viplav tells Dhani that this Tulsi is a liar! and is not who she claims to be! and he will find out the truth about her and expose her.. Dhani says, she won't let him and she blocks his way.. he ducks but she wouldn't let him past her. They both duck and miss and then the inevitable happens.. her lock of her hair catches in his button.. he stops in surprise.. what luck.. Dhani's reflex is to release her lock while he watches her with smitten looks .. her head is near his stubble doubled chin; he looks at the entangled strand and silently nods and points with his thumb as a yes for her to go ahead.. with hooded eyes he watches her finger struggle at the stubbornly twisted strand of hair.. she looks up at him helplessly; he messages with the brisk brief arch of his eyebrows ,and hooded eyes to carry on with the fond exercise of getting her hair released from his button.. gingerly she touches his button.. .. her head bops closer ,under his stubble indented chin. he clearly enjoys the closeness.. he looks down into her frightened eyes and gives her a smile his lips pulled down towards his chin.. but she looks up into his narrowed lion like hooded eyes, pleads with her eyes for him to try; he does with pleasure.. with both hands.. he tugs but her lock refuses to be freed.. but his pincer grip is rough and he pulls at her lock and she moans in pain.. and he moves his palms back ..and lets her do it herself.. he teases dadi's here! and she panics! he sniggers as she stands before him, her hair latched on to his shirt button! Finally.. she manages to free her hair.. and the sweet tangled moment fills their hearts.. but each remains silent.. there is no need for words.. or knots.. there exists some connection.. a link betwixt them..

Tulsi arrives , wants to know if Dhani is well? he snaps at her , no she's not , she's gone mad! and are you a brain specialist?? Since you came nothing is going right.. hasn't been to the mandir! electric wire turned up? and where did you get a mobile from huh? tell me.. she denies it!and then breaks down if you don't want me here I'll leave! if you don't trust me and doubt me but Dhani takes her side ,no stay you're one of us why will you leave? they'll go who have forced their way into the Ashram! you won't go any where..and Viplav storms off! Dhani says to Tulsi .. lets go to the mandr and Tulsi asks.. are you going to Durga nmandir?? Dhani looks across to Tulsi..

Super episode.. well done to PH of IKRS for giving viewers 50 wonderful episodes looking forward to more! I love the suspense and the thrill element.. Mishal and Eisha were vibrant in role.. it is great to see ReshmI loved her presence.. Hamlet53. 7.10.15

Precap: a gold coin rolls out of Tulsi's bundle .. and lands at Rajlaxmi's feet.. she holds it up and yells gold coin ? and Tulsi says , give it back.. but Rajlaxmi argues ,where did you get this from? and then Raj laxmi tells Inderani, Baddi amma , we all beg to make do! and look who you have given refuge to in our Ashram ? she owns a gold coin!! All are shocked to see the gold coin that Raj laxmi holds up .. Tulsi stands and watches with tears in her eyes... what story will she tell next?
