I wonder if he is rash and misjudges issues...he's impulsive . he acts first and thinks later Of course his heart is in the right place , but he needs to realize that his flippant and offensive actions in the past will have a bearing on how his present actions are seen.. Rosie you have poignantly captured Viplav's reactions over the consequences of actions related to him . What is alarming is his genuine good deed of saving someone's life ,implicates something negative and raises questions about his intent. A general feeling of inadequacy and loss is well written .It fitted very well with the episodes it stemmed from.
