I can't come to explain how hard it is letting them go. Each and everyday comes with a realisation the shooting will be wrapped up in a few days; and that we're left with so so very little episodes and IshqAan to watch 🥺

I watched it. It was good one time watch. I had not watched trailer. Just caught up on Netflix suggetions and watched it. I dont like Kriti but she improved as an actress.

I watched similar Marathi movie couple of years ago but it was serious and Mimi has many light moments.

I sort of watched clips from the original and it only looked serious.. unlike its Hindi counterpart

Param and Sony (on paper at least) are a very, very good fit.

It also perhaps explains why Sony was chosen for Jennifer Winget's return to the industry with Beyhadh and likewise for Sukirti Kandpal with S9MK. Even Zayed Khan's only TV stint happened on Sony.

If the decision maker/s at the top of SET India change (the mad chaps who keep chopping promising shows) I reckon it will still remain an attractive destination for stories that primarily cater to the urban progressive audience.

What Sony need to do

1) If TRP's are still their aim, give everyone a fixed 150-200 episode deal to begin with.

2) Get something else to air in that 10-11 slot when KBC's not there. It's been having CID/Crime Patrol for a while now, and many urban families only begin to watch later in the night. Anybody who puts on the TV after 10 will think Sony Entertainment Television only telecast these shows, and the dominance of mythology in the earlier segments will mean the chances of a new user "discovering" shows like IPZN while flipping channels is virtually nil.

3) Air repeats, especially in the afternoons

4) Promote Sonyliv- perhaps adopt the same strategy that Hotstar does by partnering with mobile providers (which is why HS has a better reach). They can certainly do it in India- they also have the advantage of a strong sports catalogue like Star.

Sorry... umm I think they will try to uncover Rhea reality together and in midst they’ll also uncover Dadi-Savi truth as well. The Nawaz vlog - we see an actor in nurse uniform having lunch with Savi (actor) ... so I think both truths will unravel on their own ... or so I predict
