We are so focused on technical issues these days, we are not talking about writing and story. I am totally impressed by the way of Savitri's story is unfolding. I wish technical team has done justice to the scenes.
But I am also scared now as we got extension, they might drag Rhea's track. So following is our wish list if anyone is looking for ideas heređ:
1. END Rhea's track: It is total bullshit so please don't drag is for more than a week after revelation. And dont even get it close to divorce or Rheaan marriage talk ever. One week separation is all we can handle and that too if you can give emotional, angsty and pain wala romance.
-- Not even getting into the fact that Rhea got pregnant in literally no more than 7 days after that night where Ahaan was drunk. Creative liberty and suspension of disbelief--we get it đł Just please know when to stop and don't stretch this track more than necessary, with Rheaan marriage plans and whatnot.
2. Better dialogues for dadi: No more garmi thandi wala dialgues please. And please give Sarla-Dadi more than Kali billi label for Ishqi. Let them come up with innovative names the way Ishqi does.
-- Part of the reason I haven't been able to take this Daadi 2.0 version seriously is because her dialogues. She reminds me of Chachi from the movie SAG.
The actor playing Daadi, Abha ji, is doing a great job with the role but please give her better dialogues and don't turn her into an 80s BW chachi/mausi/sauteli maa. It looks so caricature-ish I can't take anything she says or does seriously anymore
3. Ahaan-Savvy bonding: We want some good bonding scenes between them before Dadi's truth get revealed. I want Ahaan to get a bit softer towards her. Savvy can help to expose Rhea's which will make Ahaan thankful to her. We are already seeing some of these so please continue with this trackđ
4. Ishqi's job: We are literally begging for this
. This is the main theme of the show. Ahaan acceptign Ishqi as a working wife and Ahaan does kitchen work for her. You have given us latter and I am happy that it was not out of compulsion but was his choice. Please now it is time to get Ishqi job.
--YES. Yes we're all begging for this. I've been going on and on and on about how the original theme of the show was to show Ishqaan belonging to different schools of thought and how they reconcile these differences because that's the harsh reality: love, no matter how immense and 'untootable', often doesn't survive in the face of certain adversities. People in real life fall in love but often part ways simply because their ideals aren't compatible and they can't find a middle ground for their love to survive. We have seen how strongly Ahaan feels about career women and I refuse to believe that he would change as a person overnight JUST because he fell in love and love makes the world go round and round. This is a very real, very relevant and much, much needed track in such a show that never shied away from pushing the boundaries. Please give us this track.
Another thing related to this that I'd like to see, if possible, is Ishqi herself struggling to maintain a work-life balance because for women like her who prioritize family relationships more, having a career that demands some efforts and time commitment can prove to be extremely complicated--I hope we get to see how she tackles that.
5. Ishqi's Old age home: Please brign back old age home and couple that she got married in 1st epiode. Ishqi's dream was to buy this old age home. Please show these personal goals for Ishqi. Please show us that Ishqi has problem in taking fianncial help from Ahaan and conflict between
--This is connected to no. 4 as well. One thing that's always bugged me about ITV shows is how most of them start with this one female lead who has a long list of things she wants to do, dreams she wants to fulfill, ambitions and plans that has to do with her own individuality but the moment a guy comes in her life, everything goes kaput. The guy and his problems and their love become the center of her universe and nothing else matters. It's not realistic. You don't stop being passionate about something just because you fell in love. Someone may become your top priority because of love but you still continue to have other dreams. I have seen this happen to ITV FLs countless times and I am fed up. Please, please don't do this to Ishqi. Don't make Ishqi's character all about Ahaan and their family. Her dreams are worth exploring. PLEASE.
6. Dadi's truth out: Dont drag it to eternity. We don't want to see this as climax but want to watch after effects of such revelation in Ahaan's life.
7. Savvy in Malhotra house: I don't want Ahaan-Savvy to have all ideal Mummy-Son relationship as soon as truth is out. I want them to be a bit awakward, Ahaan should take time to open up in front of her, have conversation with her and finally call her "Mother". Please show us realistic approach like this and not some sasta bollywood movie milan. Get Savitri to psychologist and Ahaan can help her through this.
8. Ishqi's parents death mystery: Of course connect it to Ahaan's father's drunk driving.
--Dear writers, I don't know if you even remember this but we know next to nothing about Ishqi's family. I'm not expecting a big bad 'gehra raaz' but show us something? I don't even know what Ishqi's maiden name isđ¤
9.Closure on Mayank: Please bring him back and get him arrested for his crimes. Also bring back Suman aunty and Shekhar uncle for at least one scene where they give blessings to Ishqi-Ahaan.
--When we heard about the show going off-air earlier, I kind of assumed we'd get no closure for this one due to time limit but now that we have an extension, please give this track a proper wrap-up. I'm not asking for anything melodramatic but letting Mayank off the hook like this after the heinous crimes he committed goes against the very nature of this show itself. Please be mindful of this.
10. Independent story for Kartik: This doesn't have to be love story for him but his career track shoud be explored
11. Sonu-Raj moving out of Sarla's house. Redemption from Sarla and Ishqi-SArla nok jhok which should not be very negative.
Other than these main tracks Can we plese get following romantic scenes:
1. Ahaan jealous -- Since the day I saw that Ishqi-Autowala episode and the Holi drunk episode following that (AVM's famous "HOW many are there??!!??"), I've been waiting for this. And so far we got nothing. Nada. Zilch. Hiç. Don't play with our feelings like this đĽş
2. Ishqaan watching Jab We Met together
3. Ishqi taking Ahaan for middle class romance: auto ride, sabji mandi, chhole bhature, lassi
4. Ahaan fasting for Ishqi
5. Bhola shipping Ishqaan --One of the many reasons I keep going back to rewatch old episodes is Bhola, the first ever shipper of 'Ishqaan'. Please bring those scenes back!
6. Ishqi confessing that she remmebers drunk night few things
7. More Pool and outdoor scenes.
8. Rain romance --HOW on earth is this a Gul+4 Lions show if we don't get a single rain sequence? đłđ
9. Malhotra Family dance like 1st episode with Ishqi this time
10. Youngsters playing truth/dare or Never have I ever type games
11. Just for fun - false pregnancy alarm for Ishqi in near future and the Malhotras (esp. Ahaan) going insaneđ
