Have read the books obviously, but I read a lot of HP fanfic as well, so even side characters tend to get a fair bit of prominence in those!

You answered your question ... they didn't want us attached to the show and Ishqaan if the show was ending lol ... so they kill the mood every time they get a chance so it is easier for us to get over the show 🤣
