There'll always be some part of history that's omitted in the books. Too much to fit in, and most folks don't want bigger textbooks 😃- there are very few who genuinely like history. States could probably fit in their own history in their own boards (like the MH board books you mentioned)

Re: Punjabi culture dominance, I'd essentially put it down to two things. 1- Delhi essentially became a Punjabi city post partition, and as India's capital, it's obvious there'd be an influence. 2 is essentially Bollywood, which was very heavily Punjabi dominated in its early days.

Also, as a Punjabi family based in Delhi, the chances of AVM's forefathers having migrated is quite high!

I studied in CBSE board - and 3 years ek hi history padhai.. independence waali 😆

yes we kind of predicted it to be their date but now dadi’s drama so could be airport as well
