i get it ahaan is hurt and is good at heart but that doesn't mean he has the right to destroy someone to the core where the other can't even help themselves, is jobless and homeless, is in trauma which has changed them so much.

ik ahaan has reasons to act like this b/c of dadi's upbringing but that doesn't mean that his actions aren't toxic. that's toxic and should be called out as it's wrong!

but can't he see ishqi has really changed? he might feel bad for her, but is he doing anything for it? he's rather humiliating her more and for what? for the goddamn truth? he seems selfish here - he just wants to know the truth no matter how ishqi is suffering b/c of this.
and he has the audacity to say, "maine ye sab apni marzi se nhi kia tumhaari is khaasmosi ki vajah se kia" and "main tumhe maaf kardunga". even if ahaan ishqi ko maaf karde which doesn't make sense since ishqi is not wrong for breaking off her marriage - does he really think that ishqi can ever forgive him after what he has done to her? does he really think ishqi will ever feel the same for him or hold a place for him in her life like she previously did? does this thought ever come across his mind? maybe not b/c he is only after the goddamn truth. he's acting selfish and toxic here.

i really want ishqi to call out ahaan for being the reason for her being homeless and jobless. i hope they do not show ishqi's feelings overpowering everything she has gone through these past six months.

I completely agree

After watching yesterday's episode I realised Ahaan still has feelings for her and I don't know what truth he thinks she is going to tell him. I somewhere feel he expects Ishqi to tell him she broke the marriage coz she was in love wid him🤔

And den he has the audacity to ask her if she doesn't hv any self respect left in her ? I mean he has a very twisted way for bringing back her self respect after trying hard to break it

I too want Ishqi to call out Ahaan for everything and walk out on him. For the time being atleast.

Self respect is any day higher than love. Should always be.

exactly! he does have feelings for her but he has such a twisted way of getting the truth out of her. he stooped too low - destroyed her first and is humiliating her again and again. even he's feeling bad but that's still so wrong. right now, the truth matters more to him even more than ishqi's state - this is toxic in itself.

i hope the writers don't make ishqi melt over ahaan when he saves her or says some soft words to her. ishqi's self-respect has always mattered to her and should matter now as well. she better not let ahaan in her life anytime soon, i'm liking her silent treatment for him.

ahaan is sure broken and cares for her, but i don't think it's healthy for ishqi to be with him.

Very true. Surely Ahaan has feelings for Ishki but that doesn't make any sense because they have made him toxic. He is getting very well that Ishki has changed to worse and he is feeling bad and shocked but he is only increasing her insecurity like asking her to clean toilets n calling her thief and then having the audacity to threaten her n tell her on top of that - Maine yah San apni marzi SE Nahi kiya' then who made him do that? This is what is irritating me, on the basis of so called power n money he is troubling an innocent girl. Taken that he has no idea about the gravity of situation at Ishki's end but he did know that she came from middle class and she didn't have money then also he restricted her to do the job? He actually has not left even a single door open for Ishki to return to him. This is serial so fine she will go but in real life no girl would have gone back and I feel that the makers must realise this before showing us such extremities that they are in a way telling people that they can go to such extent yet walk away happily with the same girl. they ought to show a veryyyy hard redemption of Ahaan

It's the crazy typical scenario of men liking girls full of confidence and then going to all extremes to break that same confidence that attracted them.

I don't want Ishqi to forgive Ahaan and get back to him. No. NEVER.

Yeah I completely agree, which is why I chose to FastForward many scenes this week. Characters can be flawed but not toxic and toxicity certainly shouldn’t be shown as heroic.

In this show I known Ahaan is the hero so I’m hoping they do some justice in the redemption track. It’s part of my theory where both Ahaan & Sonu are abused kids - emotionally abused by their Dadi - hence they’ve turned out just stellar and neither has a personality they can call their own.

exactly, no woman in real would want a man like ahaan in her life - no matter if he has feelings for her or not. his behaviour is toxic - he legit destroyed her, no girl would wanna be w such a man, the pain and trauma would always be there, it's kinda impossible to accept such a man. even if it's a fiction, it's concept was kinda realistic and this is not giving the right message tbh.

UGH same! just b/c a girl has been strong and confident, you can't go to extremes w her. and ahaan here has done this and he can never be redeemed tbh. ahaan doesn't deserve ishqi after what he has done to her.

even i don't want ishqi to accept ahaan, but sadly it's their love story so we might be seeing them together, but i don't want ishqi to accept that man this easily. she should make him realise how much trauma and destruction he has caused her and that he deserves no girl! she should tell him he's toxic and selfish and everything he has been since she walked off from her wedding!

yes, being flawed and being toxic are two different things. and toxicity should neither be shown as heroic nor should be romanticized.

sonu and ahaan surely have a traumatic past, but them including a third person in their trauma makes them toxic no matter what their excuse is. the redemption should better be good and should do justice to everything since i can't see ishqaan together anymore.

I absolutely agree with everything you said. Ahaan needs to change for real and repent for years to become worthy of ishqi. Ishqi can forgive him but it would not be easy to be with him as a partner. It is not healthy for now. The biggest problme I have in Ishqi accepting Ahaan is their power dynamics.

This time Ishqi did not do mistake but he thinks she did and she is not telling the truth so he used his power to make her life miserable. In future, if Ishqi ever does mistake, doesn’t not follow him, he would again have power to destroy her. How can she trust him that he won’t do it again.

Before anything, Ahaan needs to gain ishqi’s trust that he will never ever do it to her or anyone even if she commits any mistake or crime. He is not god to give anyone any punishment. Revenge is not justice. After that only he can repent more and show real growth in character and ishqi can think of dating him. Marriage should not be no cards for now.
