Drunk Randhir > all drunk confessions lol but honestly I preferred Ahaan’s confession. It was more realistic and in keeping to both character and how drunk people really get drunk and act.

One of the first things I thought when watching Ishqi’s drunk confession is how overblown and filmi it was, plus I found it strange how hyper she got on what was clearly a date rape drug / sedative & considering Sonu was almost passed out. The whole scene seemed rushed like the writers wanted a confession at all costs even at the expense of common sense.

I think it would have been better had she just got drunk on wine / alcohol. Many men force their girlfriends and wives drink so it would have sent a nice social message too that girls should be empowered to say no.

Actually I don't agree with few of the points here.

1. Let's not always compare Ahaan to Randheer because they are two different characters and completely different shows.

2. Sonu passed out of drug / sedative but Mayank actually made Ishki drunk alcohol and not that pill. If you see clearly, he asked waiter to get her drunk and waiter mixed alcohol in her juice which she found bitter as well and kept saying kitna kadwa hai, she drank 4 juices in her frustration on Ahaan and also she was completely alone and bored there. When Sonu saw her drunk, Mayank gave both of them Lemonade and he spiked Sonu's drink and made her drink it alongside Ishki.

3. Ishki also acted out how normal drunk people reacts as Ishki is not a active alcoholic she just had low capacity and reacted that way.

4. She was not overboard at all, if you see clearly it was in complete flow of her emotions which had piled up since Holi party and had alot of realisations about her feelings whereas Ahaan's confession was at a very initial stage where they used to fight a lot, it was just the beginning of his guilt trip when he started helping Ishki and protecting her. So Ishki just blurt out what was piled up since a long time. Another difference between her and Ahaan's confession was Ishki is getting married in just another 2 days. So IMO it was way too pure and beautiful❤️ both of the confessions had equal spark depending on the timelines it came and the situation it came in.
