Wong to Ghosh, OUT
Holes out to long on! Kerr makes no mistake!
Richa Ghosh c Kerr b Wong 29 (13b 3x4 2x6) SR: 223.07
Wong to Kasat, OUT
No, they can't! But MI can! Full, straight, you-miss-I-hit stuff from Wong! Darted into middle stump and Disha's flailing bat is not even in the same postcode as the ball thunders into the stumps!
Disha Kasat b Wong 2 (5b 0x4 0x6) SR: 40
RCB have posted a below-par score on the board and they won't be happy with their batting performance. Having inserted into bat after losing the toss, it was tough going for them from the word go. Sophie Devine was run-out in the first over owing to a miscommunication and that pegged them back. Mandhana got a start but her worries against spin came to the fore again as Kerr got the better of her. Perry was very unlike herself today as she struggled for rhythm throughout her innings on this tacky surface. The middle-order also couldn't do anything significant. It was Richa Ghosh's terrific cameo lower down the order which took RCB past the 120-run mark.
Nat Sciver-Brunt: (On the pitch) I think it was alright. Bowling first has had a bit of an influence on the game. Happy to keep them down to that total. We did pretty well to manage the long side and the short side. To have the confidence to do it, it is really good from Wong (on bowling the knuckle-ball). (On what their approach should be) Whenever I go out to bat, I look to be aggressive. Getting into partnerships will be really important.
Well, that innings never really got off the ground. It began with Devine being run out for a duck. Mandhana played a couple of exquisite strokes before perishing to spin (again). Perry, too, struggled for rhythm, with none of the other batters, barring Richa able to find the fence with any sort of consistency. They finished off relatively well, scoring 46 runs in the final overs.
As for Mumbai, they were brilliant with their lines and lengths. The pitch offered them some assistance but take nothing away from their bowlers, who kept pegging away and rarely offered freebies. With the kind of batting line-up they have, they would back themselves to chase this down. Do join us in a bit for the run-chase!
Come on Mumbai Indians..

MI would be pleased with their bowling effort. They needed a shot in their arm going into the business end. They had two losses prior to this, RCB had two wins. But T20s barely care about the past. Now, the batters will have to go hell for leather as the NRR will come into play. They would want to be a step ahead of DC. A direct ticket to the finale is on the line. That's a hefty prize ahead of the batters
Review taken off the very first ball by Matthews. Can the action be more fast paced? That was a fuller ball angled in from wide of the crease. The batter wanted to play it across the line and missed the ball. She was hit low on the pads. The umpire didn't hesitate raising the finger.
