Hmm i would have wanted Shakib to play. N is Tim southee direct replacement? I mean is he all rounder too?

Team changes: Two changes for the Knight Riders. Russell out due to injury, and Prasidh Krishna left out. Tim Southee and Sandeep Warrier, the Kerala fast bowler who now plays for Tamil Nadu, are in. The Capitals are without Prithvi Shaw, who has a niggle. Steven Smith is in. They had the extra overseas player spot since Marcus Stoinis was replaced by Lalit Yadav in Capitals' last game.

Toss The coin flips - Kolkata Knight Riders opt to bowl.

Morgan: "Not sure how the wicket will play. It's not a belter, it's not too difficult. As a team we are very focused on game by game. It wasn't long ago that we were second from bottom. Guys are putting in good performances collectively and individually. My form 'not really' a concern. It goes around like a roller coaster, I try to ride it as I can. Russell misses out, Southee plays. Warrier replaces Prasidh.

Pant: "Wicket is slow, 150-160 will be good. We are always taking one game at a time. Hopefully we can win today and comform qualification. Shaw is injured, Steve Smith comes in."

bangla fan: "I am really disappointed with KKR not giving the best T20 player in the world, Shakib a chance. I cannot understand how a team struggling to qualify for playoffs can bench the best.."
